You Will Marry

After her mother finished speaking to her, for the rest of the day Gemma's mood was ruined.

She so badly wanted to talk to her father and let him know that she was not going to marry Benito's son.

She doesn't care about whatever agreement he had with the man. She is not going to marry that man's son and no one is going to force her to do what she doesn't want to do.

Elena has been out running errands for her mother, so Gemma hasn't seen her tell her what her mother had said.

Later that evening when her father got back, Gemma went to speak with him.

"What is it? Now isn't a good time," her father said in his usual gruff tone as he walked into his study and Gemma followed him.

Gemma and her father's relationship have been quite strained since she got back. Gemma knows it's because she had disobeyed him and then gotten herself into trouble and he had to part with half of one of his best trade lines to secure her release.
