Heartbroken Mateo

"I think you need to go easy on the alcohol," Gemma says to her brother, Mateo as he takes another shot of dirty martini. "Another one, make it dirtier this time," Mateo says to the bartender as he hands him his empty glass.

"Mateo, you need to stop." Gemma placed her hand on his arm. "Drinking yourself into a stupor isn't going to help in any way. It's only going to make things worse."

"She broke up with me, and told me that she no longer want to see me," Mateo groaned.

Gemma could feel the pain in her brother's voice. She has never seen him this way before and it breaks her heart to see him hurting over her best friend.

"Maybe it's for the best that you both broke up?" She said in a low tone.

Mateo shot her a deadly glare before he reached for the next glass of martini the bartender placed in front of him. "What sort of thing is that? How can you say it's for the best that she broke up with me? Are you happy that I'm hurt?"
