Chapter Thirty-Four: Alice Takes over Wonderland

Syphron:

"Sorry, I don't wear fancy clothes." She joked with her real smile, winking at me. "I tried and I can't do the fancy shit. So, I am going to show you my favorite song from upstairs and I hope you like it. Here goes." The beginning note of 'I'm not okay' began, every single demon waiting in anticipation. Something grew hard at her having fun on stage, her beautiful song doing it justice. The crowd went wild, the ball turning into a concert of sorts. Renkin nudged my shoulders, his shaking hands clutching his wine glass like his life depended on it. He needed to calm down and take a chill pill, the people needed to see the real version of her.

"She is getting a lecture tomorrow." He growled through gritted teeth, gulping down his wine. "We are going to be the l-" Cocking my brow, a low growl rumbled in my throat. She looked more at ease, her real smile not leaving her face. The bonus part was the fun everyone was having. Finishing up her song, they began to play swing versions of her favorites. Marching up to Renkin, his face went red with rage. Parting his lips to speak, she pointed to the dancing crowd. A silent understanding of his frustration passed between them, his respect for her stopping him from yelling at her.

"Before you lecture me, I am sorry for my behavior earlier. I may have taken it too far. Next time don't make me dress in a gown and let me pick out my outfit and music. Lastly, you did a great job preparing for the ball." She complimented him with a bright smile, his face turning a deeper red. "It seems I have chosen right. Thank you for being the best big brother a girl could have. Have fun and loosen up for once." Demons crowded around her, her answers satisfying them all. Finishing up the evening on a high note, everyone had headed home. Picking up the trash off the floor, a servant tried to tell her that it was her job. Glancing outside the window, the wind was picking up. Renkin called Cobalt over, the ball spinning in his palm. Drawing symbols on it with his fingers, the ball shot outside. A metal ball surrounded the capital, heavy firedrops smashing against the surface. Taking off her jacket, her eyes fell on me. This was her first Hellstorm, and they weren't that much fun. Helping Renkin order the servants around, she took her leadership role seriously. Focusing on the tasks at hand, her comforting smile never left her face. Placing her hands on her hips, Cobalt smashed into legs. Wet eyes met her loving gaze, her arms scooping him up. How were the two of them so perfect for each other?

"I used to endure thunderstorms all the time." She comforted him with her real smile, kissing the top of his head. "Would you like to make thunder s'mores?" Confusion dawned on his face, her boots pounding towards the kitchen. Coming back out with the supplies, we followed her upstairs. Ivory plopped down in front of the roaring fire, her eager eyes falling graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. Sitting on her haunches, Cobalt clung to her side. Clearing her throat, his happiness was key in keeping the barrier up. Kissing the top of his head, she began the process of making them. Servants gathered at the door, a wave of her hand inviting them in. My breath hitched at her natural beauty in the moment of her serving everyone, her order of getting into a circle shocking all of them. Pressing her palms together, a soft chuckle escaped her lips. Sitting down cautiously, their faces lit up at her next request.

"Shall we tell the tales of our homelands?" She suggested lightly, biting into her s'more. "Tell me all about your homelands. I want to learn more about you all. Then I can make your birthdays special!" Admiration glittered in everyone's eyes, Cobalt grinning ear to ear on her lap. Drinking all of it in, the facts were being committed to memory. Hours passed of this, her genuine warmth lighting up the room as the barrier grew stronger. An exhausted Cobalt lay on her lap, her fingers playing with his hair. The wind subsided, the barrier breaking down. Utter destruction floated in the sky, her face falling. Excusing herself, her boots stepped into the town square.

"I am going to wing this." She uttered under her breath, pressing her palms together. "Okay! Let's do this! I call upon the powers of my throne to turn back time!" Crouching down, a bright light blinded me the moment her palms hit the street. Wave after wave crashed into the depths of Hell, images of everything repairing itself flashed in my mind. Inky blood poured from her nose, pain scrunching up her face. Pushing through it, her skin began to burn away. Stopping at her parents' home, she lifted up her palm.

"I can't let that museum repair itself." She sobbed brokenly, unable to rise to her feet. "I am going to let the past crumble away." Clutching her raw hand to her chest, the wound wouldn't heal. Struggling to her feet, she collapsed back onto the street. Cobalt ran up to her, his eyes falling on her hand. Hiding it behind her back, she flashed him a bright smile. Wiping away her tears, his hands cupped her burnt hand. Wincing at the faintest touch, his lips pressed into a thin line. To her, it was important for him to know that she was okay.

"That won't ever heal so let me do this for you." He uttered sweetly, a deep concern darkening his eyes. "I am going to have to break every bone in your hand to repair it with metal. I am sor-" Putting her finger in the air, a stern look sent everyone away but us. Fishing around my boot, a silver hammer glinted in her palm. Shaking his head, horror glinted quietly in his eyes.

"If you must, then you can use this." She offered with slight fear in her eyes, the fact was that it would have healed by now driving her decision. "Don't go gentle on me, 'kay." Kissing the top of his head, a tender blush rose to his cheeks. Raising it in the air, his hand hovered centimeters over her hand. Unable to do it, she took the hammer from him. Smashing her hand, it took everything for her not to scream. Presenting her broken hand, Cobalt began to replace her broken bones with metal parts.

"I am going to use the strongest metal to cover your hand." He informed her with a distracted smile, a steel took over her hand. "How does it work?" Bending and unbending her hand, her real smile lit up her features. Yanking him into a loving embrace, a tender blush rose to his cheek the moment she kissed the top of his head again. Their bond was clear, the moment reminding me of why she was so amazing.

"I love it. Thank you. I was worried about the nerve damage." She gushed proudly, more proud of his magical abilities. "Has anyone told you how amazing of a son you are?" Covering her mouth, an awkward silence hung between them. A slow smile lit up his face, true love glistening in his eyes. Smiling tiredly, Pumpkin crashed onto his lap. Glancing up at me, tears of joy glistened in his eyes. Her snores echoed in the air, sweet slumber stealing her away. Noting the tears flowing from her eyes in her sleep, a smile appeared on her lips. Blessed that her dreams weren't nightmares, pure happiness showed on her face for once.

"Did you hear that? She thinks of me as a son." He uttered in disbelief, unsure of what to do. "I feel so happy." Damn, their personalities matched a little too much. Cold raindrops soaked the top of our heads, the weather not dampening the moment. Scooping her into my arm, his boots echoed not far behind me. Surprise rounded my eyes at him holding my hand, his bright smile meeting my anxious expression. Flashing him with my real smile, he noted the way my fang hung over my bottom lips. This kid was so bright but broken but this kid belonged to us.

"Does that make you my father then?" He asked adorably, his eager wet eyes waiting for an answer. Swallowing the lump in my throat, the way he cared for us certainly made it seem that way. Placing him on my other hip, his laughter twinkled in the air.

"Only if you will have me, Colby." I returned with a warmth similar to my father's, more tears of joy flooding from his eyes. "How does that sound?" Snuggling into my chest, a different emotion came over me. Snores echoed in my ear, the poor kid was slumbering in my arm. Walking back into the castle, something felt complete about it all. Tucking them into bed, his tiny hand grabbed my wrist.

"Stay with me. I feel safe with you." He begged groggily, his eyes meeting mine. "I didn't know happiness like this could exist. I love you guys so much." Kicking off my boots, my jacket landed on the chair. Climbing in, he dragged my arm over both of them. How could I ever be mad at him. Falling back asleep, sweet slumber stole me away.

Jerking awake, no one was in the bed. Panic gripped my features, their clothes from last night laid in the hamper. Rushing downstairs, the servants watched me with a bewildered expression. Skidding into the kitchen, scarlet colored my cheeks at them making pancakes together. The twins cooed in their slings, the happiness in the air was a far cry from the mood for the past couple of days. Spinning him around, she tossed him up in the air. Catching him in her arms, their laughter sounded like music in the air. Falling in love more, the way her hair hung around her face kept stealing my breath away with each passing second. Smoothing out her black leather dress, the sweetheart neckline emphasized her ample breasts. Setting him down, her dainty hands dusted off his navy dress shirt and wool pants. Noticing me, embarrassment colored their faces. Throwing a couple of pancakes on a plate, he bounced up to me. Bowing in my direction, excitement twinkled in his eyes. A tender blush rose to my cheeks, the image of my younger self doing this to my father flashed in my mind.

"Your breakfast is served." He announced proudly, grinning ear to ear the moment I took the plate. The buttery smell reminded me of the days Pumpkin would let me into the house when her parents were on their week long benders, her ease at serving me only made me admire her more. Those weeks were the best, her fear would fade away for a bit. Sitting down on the island, the servants gathered at the door. Offering them pancakes, sounds of enjoyment bounced around the room. The servants loved her, their admiration never leaving their eyes. Not eating herself, a dark concern dimmed my eyes. What was she doing? Excusing herself, I swallowed my last bite. Rushing out after her, Cobalt was busy eating with the servants. Fawning over him, the kid was going to be okay for a minute. Renkin ran to her side, his clipboard resting in his arms. Preparing myself for an argument, surprise rounded my eyes at him hugging her in a brotherly manner. When did their relationship lose a bit of its tension?

"Thank you for repairing Hell and most importantly comforting Ivory when she was scared." He sighed gratefully, his arms letting her go. "You may not pay attention and drive me insane with every single one of your actions but when we need you to come through you tend to. I don't know what we would do without you." Smiling blithely to herself, she patted his shoulder. His hand grabbed her metallic hand, his lips pressing into a thin line. It had been a while since she was this okay, Renkin proving to be his typical worrywart self once more.

"Don't worry about that." She dismissed casually, smiling at the hand. "Cobalt made it. I suppose you could say that it is important to me. What's on the schedule today?" Renkin shrugged his shoulders, a quiet realization dawning over the two of them. Nothing was on the schedule today, her finger tapping her chin.

"Shall we check on the citizens then?" She suggested with a bright smile, her metal hand glinting in the light. "They had to weather the storm, right? So let's go see how everyone is holding up. Are you coming, Sy?" Snapping back to reality, Cobalt brushed past me, his hands dropping my boots at my side. Climbing up Renkin's back, a warm smile met my brother's excited grin. High fiving him, Pumpkin certainly had a good effect on everyone. Stepping into the bustling town square, the careful way she approached each vendor made my heart flutter. Renkin was right when it came to her, her lack of attention at meetings was dwarfed by her honest interest in her citizens' well being. Asking if they needed anything, each person shook their head and chatted pleasantly with her. Shaking each of their hands, scarlet colored their cheeks. People in their rank had never expected the queen of Hell to check up on them, a calm excitement glinted in their eyes. Resting on the fountain, little kids bounced up to her. Asking a thousand questions, she answered all of their questions. How could she be as beautiful on the inside? The last one held a book in her arms, the brown haired girl trembled at her feet.

"Can you read this to me?" She choked out cutely, her coral dress fluttering in the breeze. Taking the book, the little kids scrambled to her feet. Cobalt leapt off Renkin's shoulders, the boy landing in the front. Renkin nudged my shoulder while Pumpkin read the book to the entranced children, his crooked grin illuminating his features. What was he getting at, a suspicion growing inside of me?

"You should surprise her. Lord knows, she deserves it. What other person would stop to think of her people? Before her, I didn't care about the little guys but here she is using her day off to meet with everyone." He commented with admiration burning in his eyes, his hand resting on her hips. "I know. Let me make a meal for you two tonight and you guys can have a date night. I will watch the kids. Would you accept my gift? It is the least I can do." Watching her play with the kids, he wasn't wrong. Shooting him a thumbs up, he pounded back towards the castle. Whatever, let him have his moment. Joining my wife, the parents watched on with worn smiles. Calling them for lunch, it was just the five of us. Glancing around with the most relaxed expression I had ever seen, my heart melted at how home she was with helping everyone out.

"I suppose I should go make some lunch." She expressed simply, my arm curling around her waist. "What is going on with you?" Desperately seeking out an excuse, the sandwich vendor caught my eyes. Cobalt picked up on the situation, his hand grabbing hers. Donning his brightest smile, his finger pointed at the sandwich vendor. Ruffling his hair, she crouched down his level. Amazed at how perfect she was with him, her next question snapped me out of my trance.

"Did you want a sandwich?" She queried with a blithe smile, taking his hand. "Let's go! Then we can walk around the woods if you want." Winking back at me, I owed this kid one. Ordering us sandwiches, they refused our money despite her protests. Guilt dimmed her eyes, her fingers shifting around her boot. Dropping a bag of herbs on the table, the vendor's face lit up. Tucking them into his pocket, a profuse thank you met her kind smile. Making three beef sandwiches, her fingers curled around them. Walking into the woods, we sat on a large stump. Sighing after the first bite, the tender beef reminded her of home. Finishing up, she wiped Cobalt's cheek with her thumb. Blushing tenderly, he couldn't help but to smile up at her. How was she so natural at this? Letting her hair out of her morning bun, perfect waves cascaded down her back. Feeding the girls, she let them crawl around the dirt. The wonderful afternoon passed like this, all of me not wanting it to end. The light purple rays of twilight bathed the trees, Pumpkin placing the twins in the slings after feeding them one last time.

"Time to go back." She chirped cheerfully, taking his hand. Curling my arm around her waist, this feeling of family felt enlightening. Walking back in serene silence, Ivory passed the twins to me. Stealing her away, my old man popped up behind me. Tucking in his scarlet button up dress shirt into a pair of black trousers. Fixing his hair, he reached for the twins. A wide grin spread cheek to cheek at me giving him the twins, pride swelling in his eyes.

"I came for some grandchild time!" He sang with a jovial tone, Cobalt bouncing to his side. "Let's give dad some time to get ready." Running upstairs, the first thing I needed was a new outfit. Scanning the room for Pumpkin, she was nowhere to be found. Shouting ensued down the hall, her protests proving to be my answer. Taking a quick shower, the image of her in a lace number made me hard. Cursing to myself as I stepped out, a midnight black velvet suit hung off the door with a note from Ivory. Tugging it on, Ivory's fashion sense was impeccable as always. Loving every inch of the outfit, I slid on my boots. Renkin yanked me out of the bathroom, his shaking hand dragging me down the stairs and into the pumpkin patch that never seemed to rot. Plates of American Chop Suey steamed in the chilly autumn air, a quick good luck was all I received as he ran away. My breath hitched at Pumpkin stepping into the silver moonlight, a tight emerald dress hugged her body. Black lace peeked out of the corset top, her fingers tugging at the top. Noticing me, her simple cat eye look suited her better than the look the other night. Rubbing her thighs together, her hand reached for mine. Taking it with pleasure, her breasts pressed against my firm chest. My cock grew stiff, her eyes falling on the food. Stepping back, my brother would kill me if we didn't eat. Clearing my throat, it was hard not to take her. Helping her into her chair, her slender fingers traced her cleavage the whole meal. Rising to her feet, her finger rested on the ribbon in the front of her corset. One tug had it on the dirt, intricate lace seemed painted on her porcelain skin. Shimmying the skirt off, her hand hovered in front of me. Curling my fingers around hers, I scooped up her dress. Guiding me into an opening, our original bed rested in the center. Climbing onto the bed, she rested on her haunches. Playing with the lace, her fingers danced towards her clit. Frozen in paradise, the only thing I could do was watch as her fingers twirled in a circle. Moaning lustfully, she leaned forward.

"Sy, I need you to suck my clit. I want you to do that special little trick with your tongue." She begged with flustered cheeks, her fingers moving faster. "Please punish me, master!" Walking over with a goofy grin, her fingers grabbed my tie. Yanking me close to her face, her lips pressed against mine hungrily. Time stopped, our heartbeats thumping was all I could hear. Letting me go from her spell, her nimble fingers were already unbuttoning my pants. Flopping out, her sweet lips took me all in. Sucking up and down, her hips swung with every movement. Groaning gruffly, her skills surpassed mine. Focusing on the hip, my hand grabbed the top of her head. Pausing for a moment, her loving gaze met mine. Sitting up, her hands curled up into paw. Placing cat ears on her head, her tongue licked her lips. Curse her for being so fucking hot.

"I want to try something new." She admitted coyly, watching my face for a reaction. "Do you like your little kitty? Meow." Chuckling softly to myself, her face fell. Why was she so adorable? Peeling off my suit, the clothes landed with a soft thud. Crawling onto the bed, her delicate features couldn't have looked more majestic in the moonlight. Pinning her to the bed, I cupped her face. My hair fell like a curtain around my face, a sly grin dancing across my lips. This moment couldn't be more perfect, the chance to make her smile has presented itself.

"Would this kitty like her treat?" I whispered gruffly, her real smile illuminating her features. "I suppose I could play with you." Kissing every inch of her skin, I paused ins between her legs. Sucking on her swollen clit, she was wet. Something about this turned me on, the goal was to make her even wetter. Sliding my fingers in, my tongue licked to a different rhythm. Short gasps poured from her lips, her fingers gripping the sheets while her toes curled. Pausing for a moment, her lips puffed out in a pout. If she wished to play this game, then she would have to play fairly.

"Why isn't my little kitty now meowing?" I asked with a wicked grin, lust burning in her eyes. "I need to hear my little kitty?" Meowing sensually, my cock only grew stiffer as I returned to twisting my long tongue around her swollen clit. So delicious, she tasted so good. Stopping because I need to be inside of her, I flipped her over. Pressing her breasts into the bed, her ass wagged in the air. There's my good girl, I thought filthily to myself. Not shocked by my attitude, we both liked it like this.

"I need you to meow like a good kitty if you want me." I growled gruffly, a long meow escaping from her lips. Jamming myself in, long lust soaked meows bounced off the trees. The slow deliberate bucks made each meow louder while making me euphoric, surprise rounding my eyes at her throwing me underneath her. Loving the way she pinned me down with a hungry grin, a collar with a bell appeared around her neck. Winking in my direction, she gave me an adorable meow. Blushing harder than I ever could, her laughter twinkled in the air. Sinking onto me, her walls hugged my thick girth. Bouncing up and down, her slender hands guided mine to her swollen breasts. Squeezing them roughly, my name rang out into the air. My goodness, she was so sensitive tonight. Rolling her underneath me, her arm wrapped around my neck. Shoving me in with her other hand, a scream burst from her lips. Guiding my head to her neck, her breath hitched at my fangs tracing my neck. Pausing for a moment, I chose to cherish the moment.

"Mark me as yours." She begged softly, her kind eyes falling on me. "Love bites are the best." Sinking my fangs into her tender flesh, a long yes rang in my ears. Drinking her sweet nectar of blood, every thrust made her cry out my name. The mattress groaned as I sat up, my tongue licking my lips. Kissing her legs, anticipation glistened in her eyes at me placing her heels on my shoulders. Sliding myself in, every wild buck resulted in louder and louder screams. Pausing for a moment, her fang hung over her lips just right.

"I love you, Sy." She proclaimed sweetly, watching me lower my legs. "I don't know what I would do without you." Pulling her close to me, a wicked grin spread across her face as she sank onto me. Snaking her legs around my waist, her lips kissed mine hungrily, our hips dancing to the same rhythm. Picking up speed, the way she was saying my name told me that she was seconds from her climax. Holding her down, my hot seed filled her up. Refusing to let her go, she buried her head into my shoulder. Taking in a whiff of my scent, she melted into my arms. Gazing up at me with her trademark look of uncertainty, her hands cupped mine. Kissing her forehead, every cell in me wanted this moment to last forever.

"I am so happy that I am queen alongside you. Everything's going my way for once." She exclaimed with pure love in her eyes, her thumbs rubbing the back of my hand. "I can't believe how wonderful I feel right now. Don't you ever leave me, Sy." Pecking me on my lips, my tail began to wag. What a lucky fellow I was to land this woman. Pinning my ears back, her snores echoed in the air. Laying down, sweet slumber soon stole me away.
