‘’Do you hear yourself right now?’’
‘’I think I can,’’ he said with a heavy tone.
‘’I don’t think you do,’’ I sounded angrier with each word. ‘’You don’t know what you’re talking about.’’
‘’I know what I’m talking about.’’
The same tone, again.
‘’This is not your way of thinking. I know you. And I know that deep down you also know this is ridiculous!’’
‘’It’s not ridiculous,’’ he said with a fake smile. ‘’I just got sad because your life seemed to get hard once we met.’’
‘’Aiden!’’ I opened my eyes wide.
“Don’t make this even harder than it already is,” he murmured and I felt the pain in his voice.
‘’I love you no matter what!’’ I kept pushing.
I saw a glimpse of emotion on his face. I was about to break his wall.
‘’I don’t know what or who changed your way of thinking today,’’ I laid forward. ‘’But I don’t want to hear this again.’’
He looked at the view.
