"Hello, I'm Eva... Hey, I'm Eve."

It was already the twins eighteenth birthday and both families threw a perfect birthday party for the kids. Aguera was in a relationship with the man she met at an elevator six years ago. He has been trying his best to be a father figure to Eva and Aguera was glad Eva was slowly accepting him even though he wasn't even yet married to her mother. Atleast she won't be cajoled of not having a father anymore even though no one could ever replace her abandoned father.

★★Inside her bedroom with her friends★★

"The gifts are so plenty Eva." Maureen said to her at a corner all in admiration.

"You must've been a princess in your other life. You're loved so much."Ina joined in.

Eva unboxed some of the birthday presents she got from her neighborhood and she was glad to see beautiful in each of the boxes. She looked at her college friends with love and appreciation. They also gave her birthday presents they could afford because not all her friends were from wealthy homes like her.

"I don't know but I really think that I deserve it." Eva replied them with a soft low voice.

"Maybe because you're the most social amongst us." Maureen said.

"Not also scared to say her mind. I wish to be like you Eva."Buena joined.

Eva kept mute for few seconds looking very sad after Buena's reply. She really wished she had a complete family like her friends. None of them could relate to how she has always to have someone she could call a father and also protect her from those mockeries she got as a little kid. She even had to know she was an illegitimate from a kid because of her grandfather. She was exposed to the cruel world from a little age. Her friends got the sign and knew she was sad again because she was a child out of wedlock.

"Hey Eva, here's your birthday present." Ryan her mum's boyfriend said from the door.

"Aww you're such a lucky damsel."Ina whisphered to her.

Ryan entered inside the bedroom holding a birthday present approaching Eva. He handed it over to her while she stood up giving him a big hug. She pecked him on his right cheek checking out the box on her hands.

"Thank you uncle Ryan, I'm glad."She said to him.

"You're welcome dark." He replied.

Eva's eyes were fixed on the present as she unboxed it. It was a new pair of Nike sneakers and it was the latest model. She screamed out aloud in happiness because it was one of the things she had written in her pre- birthday bucket list. She wondered if it was magical because how did he find out what she really wanted during her birthday. She flew into his arms wrapping her hands round his waist like a baby.

Aguera later joined them in the bedroom and she happened to watch the beautiful scenario happening before her.

"What did you get for my princess honey?" She asked him from behind.

"Oh..oh I didn't know you were here."He replied him in surprise turning backwards.

Aguera walked towards them taking a peep into the box. She was glad he had a good sense of shopping. He wrapped his hand round her waist while she rested her head on his shoulder. Eva returned back to her bed signalling her friends to give her mum and boyfriend a time of privacy with her. Maureen and the rest left her bedroom immediately.

"He would surely make a good dad to you." Aguera said to her with a smile.

"Uhm mum, let's talk 'bout some other time."She replied looking at Ryan's face.

"It's okay I understand. No one can replace your father afterall."Ryan said to her warmly.

Eva really loved Ryan for her mother but she wasn't ready to see both married. It wasn't going to be easy to call such a young dude father. It was clear that the age gap between them wouldn't even be much unlike her biological father. Aguera was in her middle 30's while Ryan was in his late thirties so everyone would scorn her again for having an immatured young father that's clearly not obvious to father such a grown up ass like her.

★★At a five star hotel★★

Oreo launched Eve's eighteenth birthday party at one of the most expensive hotels at Davao city. Eve's birthday was a blast and her full support from her parents. Her friends also came by and she had such a small circle because she wasn't as social as her twin sister. Eve only had her two best friends Sandra and Jasmine as her only circle. They were also from wealthy backgrounds like she was because her father wouldn't even let her have friends from the slum.

Eve was at a corner, unboxing her birthday gifts with her friends when Mabel approached them holding a birthday gift for her.

"Darling, sorry it's coming late." Mabel apologized to her handing the gift over to Eve.

"Mum even if you didn't give me any I'll understand. Your presence alone is my birthday gift." Eve replied with a smile on her face.

"Your mum is an angel."Jasmine joined in.

Mabel gave Eve a side hug and some forehead kisses. Eve unboxed the box and it was a set of jewelries made of twenty four pure karat gold. They were the latest brand from Emily's gold collections. Eve bulged out her eyes staring at the set of gold's before her. It was really a huge present and she was just having mixed feelings. Mabel helped her in putting on the set of jewelries on her neck, ears and wrist. The gold vwas very attractive but luckily for Eve her friends could relate as they also had something similar if not she's sure they would have stolen it if they were from poor homes.

"Mum this is beautiful thank you. I love you mum."Eve appreciated her in tears.

"Anything for dad's princess."Mabel whisphered to her in a low tone.

Mabel fixed the necklace on her neck while the pendant glowed beautiful at the middle of her chest. Jasmine helped Eve in wiping off her tears with a face wipe and she appreciated that. Oreo have been looking for his family and finally found them. He approached them surprised to see the lovely bond between mother and daughter.

"What's happening here tonight?" He asked from afar feeling lost.

"Papa, mum got me the latest brand of gold collections from Emily's." Eve replied him smiling.

"Wow, Wow sweetheart you're amazing. Your love for our little girl is genuine."He praised her with a peck on her left cheek.

Mabel wasn't happy with Oreo at all because he was still refusing to let her carry his baby. Eve was already grown and she felt it was time she have some baby bumps since Eve was matured now. Oreo was just being careful and avoiding sharing the love he had for his daughter with anyone. He didn't know if he was ready to love another child as he have grown to love Eve. Her birth made him matured and responsible in thinking. He wouldn't go any day without thinking of how to make his little princess happy.
