Lucas paced in the waiting room, his hands behind his back. He hated having to be outside, but it was agreed that Vincent was more appropriate as the public face. After all, Catskill was a small town, and everyone knew that Vincent and Bonnie had been friends for decades. It wasn’t unusual that the two had gotten married eventually…though there were rumors that she had been pregnant before the marriage. 


They had ignored those rumors as best they could, getting on with their lives. To the outside world, Lucas was all but brother to Vincent and Bonnie. Only within the pack was it different…though, thankfully, they hadn’t had much reason to leave the safety of the pack in months. Russel had had more than enough money to support the entire pack twice over; the main reason he hadn’t was that many of them had enjoyed working.
