You are not scared," his deep voice asked. 

"Why would I be I love every little detail about you, even those sharp scary fangs " she laughed. 
"No one who has seen me like this has ever stayed "Xavier's voice carried a hint of pain. "Your playing with fire Liana and I don't want to hurt you," he said. 

Liana kissed him, "Xavier your appearance won't scare me cause I don't care how you look. Call me crazy or stupid but I won't care cause all I see is a man who makes me feel something I never felt with any man," she said. 

His eyes narrowed into slits, she gasped as a feeling of fear and excitement filled her. Cold dangerous air seemed to fill the room but Liana's focus was on Xavier. 

"Liana " he sweetly called her name. Huffing she looked up at him. "are you going all the way with me " 
She nodded biting her lower lip seductively. 
His body pressed down on hers as he found his way into her.

Liana's Ancient Lover

"Did you see that man today?" Lucian asked his sister during lunch. 


"No I haven't, why do you ask?" she smiled. 


Lucian pointed at her neck, "Last time you had the same mark after he slept over at your place " he said. 


"It's the same mark from last time," she said. Liana had applied some makeup to hide the love bite but her brother had still noticed. 


Lucian chuckled, "You lying now, Liana. The Mark from last time healed and the one you have now is new " 


Liana sighed, "he came over today at the office," she said. 


Lucian gazed at his sister, "I won't say anything cause he contributed to our raise in sales but I suggest you both slow down " 


"We are not rushing anything Lucian, but just moving at our own pace so don't worry we are fine " 


"Mom and Dad saw the news, Dad wants you to bring him over," he said. 


"Huh, why are they interested now? They have been acting like I don't exist and now they care. Tell Dad we are both busy to come over " she said getting up. 


"Where are you going we are still eating, " Joy asked. 


"You guys can go ahead I lost my appetite" she walked off. 


Joy turned to Lucian, "Why did you bring them up, we both know she hates that topic " 


"Am sorry but I had to, they want to see her " he said. 


Liana got back to her office and dived into work. But her thought kept wandering off. 


They treated me like I was invisible even when I did anything for their attention. Even after I left home they only contacted me just so they could sell me off to another rich brat so they could gain something in the end. And now that I have found someone I like they want to see him. In their dreams, Liana thought to herself. 


She pushed her messy thoughts to the back of her mind and went back to work. 


"What did your sister say?" Mr.Arkness asked his son. 


"Dad, Liana doesn't want to return here and especially bring her new boyfriend over" Lucian spoke. 


"Then we will have to go ourselves," his mother said. 


He sighed, "Can you guys leave her alone, the murder attempt failed, twice. I had to even go to therapy cause of the guilt and nightmares for doing that to her. And now that's back to normal and has someone who genuinely loves her you want to destroy that too " 


"You don't understand so just let us handle it," his father said. 


"Dad, please leave Liana alone. You might not know this yet but Xavier isn't a man you should mess with especially now that his interested in my sister " Lucian barked. 


"Lower your voice, young man. Since you failed at your task let's do it ourselves " his mother gestured for him to leave. 


Lucian felt a lump in his throat, he felt so angry tears formed in his eyes. He turned to leave his parents alone in the study.
