Vasle

Xavier woke up alone in bed, Liana wasn't next to him. They had slept so late last night having been chatting with his mother.

She loved every outfit and other gifts Liana had bought her. He got up walking to the bathroom but she was there.

"Liana" he called but got no reply. He had her giggle from out the window, stepping to see her out and playing with something. this two maids were standing aside with frowns on their faces.

"Princess, it's dangerous," they said.

Xavier frowned and walked out of their room to where they were.

"Morning Prince Avel" the guards and others greeted when they saw him walk out. He was just pants with a light white shirt buttons open.

"The prince is here," one of the maids said.

"We are in trouble," the other said.

Liana looked up upon hearing them whisper, "Morning Prince Avel" they moved back.

She turned to see him next to her gazing calmly, she smiled noticing his open shirt which exposed his perfect chest under it.

"Morning," she said.

"Morning, what are you doing," he asked.

She giggled picked something up and got up, "I found this moving around when I woke up for a morning stroll, I think it lost its way" she was holding a red little dragon-like creature in her arms.

Xavier frowned but got closer looking at it, the little creature moved back making a little kind of bow to him.

"Ahh, why is it doing that" she blinked.

Xavier moved his hand and gently rubbed its head, "Do you know what this is?"

She shook her head, "Not really but I like it"

"It's called a vasle, they guard the underground where the souls of the damned are, it's bowed to me 'cause it knows who I am," he said.

"Huh, but it's so cute" she smiled holding it.

"This one is young, when they grow up they are very ferocious beasts," he said.

"Can I keep this one?" she asked. He shook his head, "No you can't it has to return to its mother and its size when fully grown is hard to hide in your world" he said.

Liana sighed, "I guess your right, but can I play with it until when leave"

"Okay but now it needs to return to its mother" He leads her away.

They walked off taking a turn heading to the lower part of the palace. The maids stopped following and the guards replaced them.

She noticed the darkness filled everywhere with few places with light, something appeared in her mind and she stopped.

"Are you okay?" he asked

She blinked, "Mmm" and followed him.

They arrived at their nest, "This is where they stay, he moved his eyes to the little vasle. Liana looked around gasping at the size of the mature ones.

"They are so huge and scary "she moved back.

Xavier smiled walking ahead they bowed and moved to him, he rubbed their heads and turned to her.

"Come closer, they want you to touch them, "he said.

She was still," I think am safe here "

He chuckled," your holding one already in your arms and they can't hurt you with me here "

Her eyes stayed on Xavier as she took little steps closer to him. The little Vasle pulled away, Liana let it down and with its little feet ran to the middle one.

"That's its mother, "said Xavier.

Liana waved," Hi, mother Vasle I found your baby. I don't know how it got to me but I bought her back "she smiled.

It moved roaring, she stepped back. Xavier held her hand," It's saying it's a boy "

"Oh, sorry," she said.

"Won't you touch them "Xavier stood behind her and moved her hand to them, each took a turn as he moved her hand over their heads.

She giggled," They are so cute "

He laughed," I thought they were scary, "his voice said next to her
