After a short while of not knowing what to do, Keith suggested I leave the treehouse, though he wanted to spend a little longer before going himself. Since he wanted some alone time, I decided to give that to him.

Upon leaving the treehouse I was given the conundrum of how to get down, though it was probably easier than getting up, all things considered.

I wasn't too good a judge of height, but I figured it was about three meters. It was probably fine to just jump, right? Though if this was actually a game, you'd probably instantly die from that kind of fall.

...It was probably fine.

While I readied myself to jump, someone suddenly put a hand on my shoulder, scaring me quite a bit, but I managed to keep a straight face.

"Did that fool tell you anything strange?"

I looked over my shoulder to see Sophia. She had a raised eyebrow but was playfully smiling.

"Nothing really. It all sounded pretty normal."
