First Partner (Edited)

(Marvin Robin POV) (The kid who was imperious in chapter 6)

I was suddenly overcome by a feeling of euphoria as I was shopping for new books. From that moment forward, all my worries and thoughts were erased, leaving behind only a vague and untraceable command to find a cabinet once I arrived at Hogwarts. Following the order, I acted as normal, pretending to be absorbed in my books.

Once the school year started, I began searching for the cabinet in my free time. It took me two weeks to locate it on the second floor. My next task was to make the elves move it, so I cast spells in front of the cabinet, pretending to be practicing. When an elf appeared, I asked them to move the cabinet.

"Hogwarts House Elf," I called out.

"Yes, sir, how can I help you?" the elf replied.

"I'm practicing spells here, but this cabinet is in my way. Could you move it?" I asked, feigning frustration.

"Oh, I'll do that right away," the elf said, and took the cabinet away.

I practiced spells in the same spot for an hour or two, making sure not to raise any suspicions. Then, I resumed my classes and acted normally.

A month later, on a weekend, I sneaked up to the seventh floor, pretending to be exploring. When I reached the portrait with the dancing troll, I imagined a room filled with lost and found items and walked around the picture three times. After that, a door appeared.

I opened the door and spent the rest of the time searching for the cabinet. When I found it, I opened the cabinet door and made contact with the person who had given me the orders through the mirror.

(Sirius POV)

It has been three weeks since I spoke with Bella. I have increased her meal frequency to help her regain her health and become grateful to me. I have also spent the rest of my time enhancing my magical skills and learning how to use my new physical advantages in duels. I now have a fast reaction time, improved dodging speed, and a high endurance to perform magic continuously.

While reading in the library, I received a vibration from my magical pouch, which was from my Imperiused Hogwarts student. After seeing the student's face in the communicating mirror, I was informed that the object was transferred to the Come and Go room.

With my wand ready and a prepared portkey in case of a trap, I went to my office and opened the cabinet door. I saw the student standing there with the mirror and, after making sure there were no hidden people, I stunned and obliviated him, then rewrote his memory about recent events. I then made myself and the cabinet invisible and renervated the student.

After the student left, I explored the Room of Hidden Things and found the Rowena Ravenclaw Diadem. Despite the anti-summoning charm on it, I was able to find the diadem with my wand's pointing spell. I dispelled the ward, placed the diadem in a magical-resistant box, and stored it in my pouch.

Next, I tried the Room of Requirement by imagining a training area and a library for charms. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my imagination had created a room with a library and a circular arena for target practice. I picked up a book, "How Charms Wins Battles," and started reading while seated on a comfortable leather sofa.

~2 Later months~

(Bellatrix POV)

This new Sirius had changed dramatically. He started to take care of me, providing me with food, baths, new clothes, and even health regimen potions, all in the name of reviving the Black Family. Despite his previous hatred for the Family, he now seems more mature and carries a menacing presence.

However, sometimes he makes foolish decisions, such as this one. As I looked at Sirius, who stood determinedly before me, I mocked him, trying to extract information from him.

"Hehe, Sirius, you're so foolish, handing me a wand so we can duel. I'm supposed to be a prisoner. Did you get cocky because I don't have a perfect matching wand, or are you delusional? I won't kill you just because you were nice to me."

I saw a moment of hesitation on his face before it became focused. He replied, "I don't have a matching wand either, so we're both at a disadvantage."

"By the way, I wanted to let you know about my research. I found out about Voldemort's background. He's the result of a squib Gaunt and a muggle mating. A half-blood, isn't that another hole in your philosophy?"

"But enough talking, let's start!" I shouted.

The news of Voldemort's background didn't shock me much, as the upper echelons of Death Eaters already knew there was something suspicious about Voldemort's past. Nevertheless, the revelation that he was the product of a squib and a muggle still made me snap.

My magic began to boil, and I looked straight into Sirius' eyes and grinned at him. I started with a blood-boiling curse in my favorite spell chain. He deflected it, but I wasn't done. I unleashed every dark curse I knew, including a bone-shattering curse, a cutting curse, a dark compression curse, and an electric torture curse. I dodged to my left as Sirius started transfiguring weapons and sending them towards me. I quickly cast a blazing heat spell, which he doused with a streaming water spell.

The spells exchanged between us destroyed the dueling pit. Sirius cast damaging attacks, while I cast maiming, torture, or killing spells. I was amazed at how much Sirius had changed and how talented he was. I wasn't surprised by his repertoire of spells, but I was taken aback by his use of elemental magic, Transfiguration, and Charms in the duel. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't hurt him.

Ducking another spell, I laughed at the realization that the black sheep of the Family had returned. I focused on the duel because I was losing. I fell into a rhythm, casting as I moved, ducking, and shifting my stance to avoid his attacks. He transitioned from one spell chain to another, but I fell back on my instincts and continued to cast as quickly as possible, my darkest spells rolling off my tongue. I felt free, and all the frustration of being used, left alone, and imprisoned was forgotten. My magic was rumbling as I remembered my days in the dueling circuit and during the war.

Frustrated that I couldn't harm Sirius, I put all my hate and misery from the past years into a final Killing curse. "Avada Kedavra!" I shouted. He intercepted the spell with a block of rock and fired a disarming charm. As soon as my wand left my hand, I fell to my knees in exhaustion. Breathing in and out, I saw how at ease Sirius was.

"You've become very powerful. I couldn't even make you go all out," I said.

He shrugged and said, "I've had a long time to recover, and you're still not at your peak."

He approached me and offered his hand. "Bella, I need you on my side. The Family needs us to stick together. Trust me, I'm not asking you to be subservient to me, but to be my equal."

I gazed at his hand and considered his offer. Even if the Dark Lord returned, what would prevent him from losing again? His invincibility was shattered by a mudblood and her half-blood child. My instincts told me that this time, Sirius would be the one to defeat him, just as they had previously told me to follow Voldemort.

I asked, "Will you abandon me?"

Suddenly, magic burst from him, enveloping him in a red aura that spread to me. I could feel his magic, his strength, his determination, and his conviction as he replied, "Never!"

I took his hand and clasped it.
