Nova Wave Book 1 Red Dawn

Elena wasn't sure what happened; one moment, the bear and Elena were making peace the next, all hell broke loose. There was a loud whistling noise just before something impacted the side of the bear, knocking it aside end over end, and now the roof the bear was holding up was crashing down on the small boy underneath it. 


Elena did not hesitate to save the boy's life this time. Her hand shot in the direction of the youth, forming a wall at a forty-five degrees angle above the boy's head, creating a makeshift slide for the roof to fall down and away from the terrified child. 


The one who had attacked the bear fell to the ground, landing softly with a spear in hand. The spear looked to be a drill head attached to a black metal rod that was the length of the one holding it and that someone was none other than the Captain of the North District. Captain Lanceheart, former Hero and ranked in the top ten Heroes before retiring to become Captain.
