Forty-Six

The city was alive with screams and shouts as people fled in a crazy frenzy, and like every other situation that came before, the most casualties came from the people running in terror. Not every encounter was this bad, though, or had this many people around, but it did happen. Sometimes villains will snap for no reason and take down everyone around them.

Carson watched Peter dash in and out of the crowd of people with a pained expression. Why save those that would just as likely step on others to protect their own miserable lives? 'Maybe that's the difference between us.'

"The Hero Academy made a mistake when they didn't graduate, Peter, " Carson muttered to himself, now focusing his attention on the fight up ahead.

The villain must have had a Transformation type ability because the top half of his body was green and reptilian. The hero was a short-haired woman with a sword in one hand while the other hand stretched out before her.
