Sarah had to admit that she was getting quite good at judging distances and how much force to jump between one branch up to the next one. Sure, it took her several tries even to get anywhere close to where she was trying to go, but that was in the past now by a whole three or four minutes; thank you very much.
The guards chasing them were long gone, now falling way behind. More than likely, they had to check every branch they passed, slowing them down considerably. Sarah was thankful for that. Fighting guards would only make things harder for Elena and Carson.
Sarah still remembered the citation Captain Triston tried giving Elena back at the market, and she was sure they hadn't heard the last of on that subject. She only hoped Elena knew what she was doing by ignoring something like that.
