"She killed my brother and I wanted to payback!" he's really got a big mouth on him , that's for sure.

"Am asking what did you do?" Grey is serious as hell now.

"I-i slapped her" he looks down.

"Wow, this is not my battle to fight my dear friends, I just wanted to know since he wouldn't tell me anyways-" he stops mid sentence to litsen and I hear it too, the human girl talking to her mother.

'I killed him Sarin"

'No mom, those monsters did it"

It must be the mention of her name that catches his attention.

"anyways, I have to go now it was nice seeing you" he smiles and leaves immediately. I stand and smile, am already tired now.

One of my men enters and unties the one who slapped Aella.

"I'll let you go, if you torture all of them to death and I always keep my word, I promise" his eyes widen but am sure he'll agree.

That's the thing about desperation, it makes you do things you can never do willingly. He is desperate to save his life but he is foolish and stupid. How can I let him go after he slapped her.

No, after laying a hand on her.

"I want to hear them scream out loud when am outside" I walk out and watch through the translucent glass. They can't see me but I see them so well. He punches the first till he's bleeding profusely and finally snaps his neck, the second one the same. He is a killer so he must be enjoying this, neither of them has a clean job.

He skips Douglas, finishes with the last two and finally stands in front of Douglas with a smile.

He's happy to do this to him. He holds his neck and chokes him to death and turns around waiting for me with a smile.

"Take care of those bodies" I say to my men and approach him, "let's go?" I call and he follows.

"You know I could be one of your men, am very strong and have impeccable skills" he suggests as we get in to my carriage.

"Am sure you are" I respond.

"What's your relationship with that witch anyway she's just a monster in our midst , I would've made sure she chok-" my mood shifts instantly due to his words. The carriage stops and we walk out, he looks around warily. I take out my coat and put it in the carriage and hold the back of his neck pulling him deeper in the forest.

"What did you just say?, you would have done what?" I say and glare at him on the ground. I squat at his side and tug at his hair firmly and he winces in pain.

"You talk too much and God it's annoying" I backhand him and he starts crawling away.

"You see am not an animal, am a very calm person and I never result to violence because it doesn't make sense to me but-" I punch his jaw anger flaming hot in my venomous veins, " when somebody touches what's mine , I lose all my self control" I punch him again and he looks at me with pleading eyes. "Thing is I won't kill you , I'll let some animal find you and kill you instead I have no plan of having your dirty blood on my hands"

With that I walk away from him and from my carriage I hear screams from him. Let the wolves enjoy for once.

I need a drink so bad right now. I mind link Grey and obviously he agrees to go with me.

Sorry for this,

Just to clarify, this is when in Page 25 he went to her room drunk. God I wish I didn't confuse anyone.

"Doesn't it get tired" Sarin panted, this was their third stop to breath and this 'beast' hadn't lost sight of them.

" Not really, they have crazy energy" Bethany drank some water from the bottle she had carried, mine was long finished.

So apparently, when she heard about the Red rules and Red lake and stopped abruptly, she saw what they call a Mariska. Two times bigger than a carriage in Cunningham. Initially it was a stampede so they were more but one spotted them and was still chasing them for the past one hour.

She could collapse any minute if it weren't helping her by increasing her strength through magic.

"We need to stop at some point or we'll die from running- wait do you know where we are going?" Bethany looked at her, this was the first time in all the few hours she was with Bethany that she looked kind of unsure.

"But I have an idea" she said looking out at the Mariska.

"Now would be the best time Beth for your idea" Sarin said as she stood straight up.

"I think we should turn back" she said pointing to the direction they we're running from using her thumb. Sarin just laughed sarcastically.

"You're serious right now right?"

"I mean, if we turn back to the direction it came from we might find who it - they were running from" that made sense actually.

Obviously they were running from something, but...

"What if they were running from some something bigger than itself, we will be in bigger problems"

"Any creature bigger than a Mariska cannot thrive here, should we?" Beth asked.

"How are you so sure it'll work?" she needed assurance.

"Because, people from here hunt them and make them their pets" at least that was something valid and how is such a huge thing a pet.

"Okay, God please help us" Sarin prayed a short prayer and they started creeping back. The Mariska was finally out of sight so they ran back.

Now was running through the barren land and it started to snow.

Weird weather, Barren dry land then snow.

After minutes or running, Bethany stopped and she bumped to her back.

"What's up?"

"Oh god no" Bethany's face was filled with pure horror as she looked at the men walking towards. They were at least ten to fifteen.

"At least they're people, right?" Sarin could see their carriages down the hill.

"Not the people I wish to see now" she grasped my arm as we walked towards the men.

.

"LOOK WHO IT IS BOYS!" the man leading the group shouted and smiled while Beth rolled her eyes as we walked past them to their carriages.

I wrote this after running away from Netflix. I was watching Lockwood &co and I was scared of ghosts and stuff.
