Sarah slumped down on the cold after begging for past few minutes for somebody to let her out of the small dungeon. She didn't even know what day it was and seriously missed home. She knew it was Dayn who kept her here and left her.

All she wanted to do was get out and go gossip with Enisa while making fun of Karl's combat skills and lastly offer a warm hug to her son Klaus. She had been planning that everyday.

She looked up and saw the Shadow of someone's shoes and already guessed who it was.

"Dayn?" she called knowing very well it was him. His aura wasn't mistakable. Ever.

"Sarah" his voice was still the same and she could tell he was angry after all she did lock him up for years and made sure he never escaped.

"Was this your solution? to lock me up just so that I can't lock you back in there" she still sat on the floor.

"You're free to go" what had confined the room was somehow unlocked and the colour of her eyes turned to purple almost immediately.

"And don't you think about locking me back to that cell or I'll tell your son the truth" he threatened and as much as she wasn't scared of Klaus's father, she couldn't let Klaus know about her being his mother.

She couldn't ruin that good relationship they already had.

"Ok" she agreed to his terms and immediately dissapeared back to the Imperial house only to be met by smoke and fire everywhere.

"Aella wake up" Ava's panicked voice shook her from her sleep. The past few days had been heaven for her ,eat sleep and talk and relax. But now her lungs were burning as if she wasn't breathing.

"Wake up there's a fire in the house" Ava's panicked voice now made her wake up and stay upright. The curtains of her rooms were now catching fire all the way to the ceiling. Ava handed her a coat which she put on immediately plus some shoes.

"I need you to hug me Aella and don't let go till I say so" Ava said as she hugged her and started her magic behind her.

All she could here was Ava uttering some chants and then some sort of dome covered them and then they walked 9ut when inside of it. She still hadn't looked at Ava but when she did, she got worried.

Her nose bled, her eyes were bloodshot and lastly her ears also bled. Was this what magic did to someone or was it only her.

"Keep walking Aella we have to get far away from here" the dome dissapeared, "they may still be around so keep walking, am ok"

"They ,who?" Aella asked as she followed the instructions given.

"They're called The Bandits ,they are like hunters but much much worse because they follow religion, they are looking for supernaturals and they will be around for long" they reached the middle of the forest and sat to rest.

Will Klaus find us from here or was he ok?

"I'll inform him , don't worry he's okay" Aella narrowed her eyes at Ava.

"Can you read minds?"

She smiled approvingly, "I can read that of anyone except those who have powers" she sat down and took out a cloth and wiped off her blood.

Did that mean she didn't have powers or what?

" You have them it's just that you haven't activated them, yet" she said and laid down to rest.

It felt like invasion of privacy when someone could hear your thoughts the most private thing in life was all out in the open for her.

"Klaus will be here in a few and I'll block out of my thoughts you make too much noise by the way" she chuckled at last statement.

"No I don't" she argued lying next to her.

"Yes you do" she smiled as her eyes shut.

After some comfortable silence, she asked again.

"Why do you bleed so much?" the question had been bothering her mind for long since she wondered if it would happen to her.

"Shh, listen" she did as instructed but nothing caught her ears.

"Litsen with your mind Aella" she closed her eyes and litsened.

"I can't here anything"

"Start with the rustling of the leaves and go back to your mind, wait for my answer" she looked at Ava who calmly had her eyes closed and she did the same.

She litsened to the quiet forest first and then back to her mind and focused on hearing something and she did, 'Because I need my sister'.

She shot her eyes open and offered a gold worth smile to Ava who smiled back knowing she got the message.

"Good, now keep litsening and tell me everything you hear" she closed her eyes again in excitement.

"I hear leaves, a squirrel eating something, a woodpecker and footsteps" her concentration started to dissipate as her heart started igniting its own fireworks. She blushed when Ava opened her eyes to look at her.

"You already lost your focus Aella , good job though" Ava said and closed her eyes ready to sleep. Aella smiled more than she ever did the past few days and continued to lie down as she litsened to his footsteps come closer to them.

"Are you guys fine?" she nodded when he squatted by her side.

"Do you want to go where she was talking about?" he touched her hair as he asked making goose bumps cover her skin under the coat that she wore.

"Mmh"

"We'd better get going then" he touched the scalp of her head soothingly and she literally shivered "but let her rest for a while".

I hate writing fire scenes that's why I didn't get into details about it. Gawd I need some feedback cause am so freaking confused rn.
