"Bethany what are you doing in my room and most especially in my house?" Sarin asked as she looked at Beth who had sat comfortably on her rocking chair and it was getting furiously hot.

"We have to leave" she said as she looked at some bags beside her.

"Leave and go where and why are my bags packed?" she left from the bed and opened the bags and saw all her things in there.

"Look outside the window" she said and Sarin curiously looked only to see smoky skies and fire in some houses.

"What happened?" she whispered.

"Some bandits came around and burned the town ,they say they're looking for someone" Bethany said as she stood and slung one of Sarin's bag to her back.

"Why should I go with you?"

"Because you freaking have to or you'll die" she walked to the door assuming that Sarin would follow and she did but not before she came to a halt abruptly.

"Wait, what about my mother?"

"Your mom is dead so what about her" Sarin glared daggers at Beth who just rolled her eyes and continued "Your boyfriend took care of her"

Her brows furrowed, "Boyfriend? and what do you mean by take care of her?" she hurriedly followed Bethany who was technically running by now.

"Grey buried her at a good place so don't worry ,her soul will rest in peace" Beth finished sarcastically.

"Where are you taking me?" they walking in the direction of the town where many townsfolk were trying to stop the fire. Most of the homes and business places had been destroyed.

"To a safer place and shut up or I'll make you" Bethany took a corner and they walked hurriedly. Sarin had many questions and she wouldn't shut up, Bethany was practically kidnapping her although she was still following her.

"Am safe here" no she wasn't and she knew ,she had no parents to take care of her it was just her against the world.

"No you're not ,watch your head from now on" they were getting into the forest and little showers had started.

"What's this?" Bethany had come to a halt in front of an old door that looked like it was from the previous century. How it had survived till date was a wonder to her too.

"It's clearly a door isn't it" she said rudely. She was a pain in the ass if anybody ever asked. Emotionless too.

"Am asking where is it supposed to take us, you don't have to be so rude" Sarin leaned in closer to look at what Bethany was doing.

"Am not being rude Sarin this is just how I am and that's how I speak" she said after perfoming some weird ministrations with her hands that made her bleed from her nose and finally opened the door to, lets just say another world because it was daytime and it was snowing.

"Shit!" she looked at Bethany curse as she angrily looked at the other dimension.

"What's wrong?"

"We are not supposed to land here but somewhere better now we'll have to walk all the way to Copenham or Oak harbour and its quite far" she looked down at her stuff and opened one of the bags probably to take out a heavy sweater and coat and Sarin followed her actions. Somewhere deep inside her she kind off trusted Bethany to guide her especially when she heard her mention harbor.

After getting in the wooden door and it closed behind them, she shivered at the intensity of the cold in this place. "What is this place?"

"Dalotopia"

"Okay and?" Dalotopia and so what?

"Why is this place safer for me than Cunningham?"

"All those fires in town we're, how do I say this now? She pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration "There is this group known as The Bandit, they're a religious organization but not any normal one they perfom some cultic practices to people with superpowers like myself and so they were in Cunningham looking for such people and they have their crazy methods of identifying such methods , by me bringing you here you'll be safer than being there" that was longest that Bethany had ever spoken to her.

"I don't have any supernatural powers" she said as if she was doubting herself which was weird. Bethany just looked up at her to see doubt all over her features and smiled.

"Why are you doubting yourself Sarin , have you ever done any magic?" she shook her head in disapproval.

"Cast any magic spells or anything of that sort or transformed to a werewolf or lastly do you have sharp pointy vampire teeth?" she shook her again in disapproval "then stop doubting yourself"

What about her dreams, they did scare the hell out of her or that did not matter.

"We have to take this off or we'll die to the heat" she snapped her eyes to look at Bethany who had already started to take off the long coat from her body. They we're still in the snow area so why we're they taking them off or did she want them to die from cold.

"Why are we taking them off its freezing cold?"

"Because that's not how it entirely works here, during the snow season or winter in your world, it gets hot sometimes" that was the weirdest weather pattern in the world so she followed her advice.

"Why?"

"Must there be a reason?" she slung the bag to her back.

"There is always a reason for everything" Beth smiled and kept walking urging her to follow.

"They say it's a curse on this country especially on this part since a certain prince ran away to your world after breaking one of the Red laws. She came to an abrupt stop from hearing the word Red laws and there was still Red Lake. They were certainly related in some way, her intuition was never wrong. Then her sight caught sight of something heading their way.

"Why did you stop?" Bethany asked nudging her shoulder and she pointed at what was coming their way. No voice escaped her voice box so she only pointed and beth looked ahead curiously. Her eyes widened in shock as she pulled her to the opposite direction.

"Shit! We have to run Princess or we'll die right here, right now"

There was a lot of conversations in that chapter ,hope it wasn't annoying, although, I have to say something about the Bandit stuff.

All this is a work of fiction and imagination, nothing is real but just a creation of my imagination so as to make my plot much better. Am not implying any faith or religion in the real world.

Remember it's just my imagination. Thanks for reading I greatly appreciate. Polite question:

What in the book are you curious about?
