Aella and Ava walk into Dalotopia and waited at the beach as Klaus dealt with The Bandits who had been following them.

SMALL VILLAGE

"Sir Klaus, we didn't expect to see you here" The leader of the bandit troup said as he walked to meet with Klaus.

"Of course you didn't considering you're exactly where I am, pretty sure it's a coincidence" the sarcasm dripped off from his voice. Rhys, leader of the bandits stretched his hand to greet him but Klaus just pocketed his gloved hands ignorantly.

"We were just passing by looking for a girl wanted for some hideous crimes" Rhys offered a polite smile, he knew that Klaus already figured out that they had been following him. He had once approached him since he desired him and his impeccable skills to help him in finding the supernaturals but he refused by saying,

'You're offering a job where you're looking for creatures of my own kind, I cannot betray my kind'

Rhys had some supernaturals helping him (in undercover) in finding others so initially he didn't think it was an issue but after telling Klaus he had blown his cover and Klaus knew his secret and he could report him to the Council for that but Klaus had been silent.

"I do not care what you were doing Rhys, fact is you were following me and it doesn't make me happy" Klaus said looking around at the many men in red robes still aiming at him. He smiled and looked back at Rhys.

Rhys knew more than to anger this vampire since he could die any instant if he tried to aggravate him more, there was a reason why he was third in rank in all Imperial houses and there was a reason why he couldn't cross him.

He knew his secret.

"We apologize and we will be on our way Sir.Klaus " Rhys said with hurry and signalled for his men to stop aiming at him and move on.

Just when he turned around an arrow flew towards Klaus but he stopped it by catching it right after it grazed his ear. Rhys eyes flew wide open as he turned to look at the fool who shot at Klaus.

They were trying to avoid trouble for petes sake and this bastard was starting it. He would have to discipline his men.

Klaus looked up to be met by a pair of eyes which smiled triumphantly at him thinking they could threaten him. His anger started to heat up like water in a pot on the fire.

"Seems like someone is looking for some taste of me this beautiful day" Klaus said materialising right on front of the hooded smiling idiot, "but I don't have all day since my woman and her friend are waiting for me"

Looking at him dead in the eyes, he could see everything about this man. "Your wife doesn't love you anymore and your daughter ran away after you forced her into a marriage she didn't consent to" the man's smile immediately faltered but he was not done.

Words are weapons.

"You have a mistress, your family threw you out and you abuse your wife but there is one more thing too, should I say it out loud?" Klaus asked with a cunning smile that made the man tremble as he quickly shook his head.

"I should tell Rhys I think he'd be interested in it but I won't, aren't I nice?"

He nodded and moved back obviously startled and his lips trembled in fear. Dropping all his items and weapons plus removing the robe he walked away as if bewitched and the rest of the men just watched wondering what Klaus did to him.

Rhys just looked away and ordered his men to move on to the next town, he knew what Klaus could do but he had to shut it or he would suffer the consequences too.

Klaus might be a fine piece of art on the outside but inside his head he was a crazy man it's just that his calmness covered all that.

"I'll be on my way" Klaus walked back to the small door and found Ava and Aella on the other side at a beach.

"Klaus!" Aella exclaimed a little too loudly heaving out a sigh of relief, she was getting kind of worried. He nodded reassuringly glad that she had been worried for him.

"Let's go to the castle, that's where we are needed" Ava said walking away from the beach and Aella followed with some tinge of sadness.

She wanted to feel the sand below her feet for much longer.

"We will come back some other time" Ava says and they reached a narrow road where a carriage is parked and the coachman looked at them and smiled widely. Ava could hear her thoughts so obviously she heard her rants.

Unfocused, she looked at Klaus and saw blood on his ear.

"Klaus did you hurt yourself cause you're bleeding" she walked closer to him trying to inspect his ear.

"Did they hurt you?" she asked her voice getting smaller standing on her tippy toes to reach his ear. She wiped his blood with her handkerchief but he simply smiled at her care.

"What would you do if they did?"

"I would punish them" the cut healed itself and she moved back. Her body warmed at seeing how close she was to him, her ears hot.

"Oh really?" he asked looking down at her and she blushed. He leaned down and kissed her cheek and walked away following Ava.

After a minute of calming down she followed them.
