"Aunt ,Enisa " Klaus greeted as he joined the their company.

Aunt Sarah looked at the fellow ladies in the room who had started ogling at Klaus and said, "Excuse us ladies" they all left.

"Klaus? Where have you been?" Sarah was the one to ask.

"Been busy" he lied and Enisa saw right through it and muttered 'Lies' under her breath.

Sarah had already embraced Klaus but grumpy Enisa didn't leave her spot.

"We know you left stop lying Klaus" Sarah returned that night of the fire when he left with Aella to Dalotopia.

"Sorry" he whispered the small apology.

"Come on Enisa, didn't you miss covering up for me?" being the only people he could sooth, he unleashed a gold worth smile and went to stand behind Enisa and started massaging her shoulders.

They were in the gazebo in the middle of the garden opposite the Imperial Mansion. The scenery was beautiful and had been their favourite meeting spot.

"Covering up for what?" Sarah sipped her tea and peeked suspiciously at Klaus's face and still lingering smile.

"Nothing Aunty, Have you been seeing someone?" Enisa asked as she relaxed under his touch.

"Why?" he knew she could feel it eventually, she and Sarah were both witches so he understood the look Sarah was giving him.

"You have her scent all over you" he didn't respond and left them to draw their conclusions.

"Where's Karl?" he asked since he hadn't felt his presence since he arrived.

"He went with Father, father is no longer wanted but that doesn't mean he won't be detained if he slips he claims to be looking for someone and he's pretty worked up about it" Enisa finished with a sigh but it didn't escape Klaus's notice that Sarah tensed on the mention of Dayn.

"He'd better find him since I have some scores to settle with that person too" Aella's father "Tell Karl I said hello" Klaus stepped away closer to Enisa and kissed her cheek.

"Okay bye" she wiped the kiss away with a shove and disgusting expression on her visage. He proceeded and kissed the top of Sarah's head then dissapeared before they could utter the word.

Even in her sleep she could feel the pair of eyes watching but it wasn't creepy. It was safe.

The door to the room opened then a pair of footsteps followed. It was

"You do know that it's not okay to watch someone in their sleep?" Bethany's whisper filtered in the room. She walked to the balcony with light steps probably trying not to wake she and Ava up but Aella was awake.

"I do" his voice said from the balcony. Silence filled the room as Beth went to stand beside Klaus. She could see them under the covers.

"Then quit it"

"I can't" his answers were short and to the point. He knew she was awake but maybe Beth didn't.

"She has put you under her spell, huh?" it wasn't a question but a conclusion.

"That she has" his voice had darkened, Aella's cheeks warmed in response and she finally felt a familiar shadow graze her feet. It was Klaus's power.

"Have we met before?" Beth was quick to ask changing the topic of discussion.

"I don't think so" Klaus replied with a shrug which made Aella doubt him. Lately he had become a new person so she couldn't put the faith in that he spoke the Truth. The shadows at her feet climbed higher to her waist engulfing her in heat but also trapping her there.

She always knew that the power Klaus showed outwardly was just the tip of the iceberg, the day he would unfold, it would be the day of damnation for many.

"I must be going crazy, I need this girl" Beth went Ava's side, woke her up and dragged her out of the room. She uncovered herself and peeked at Klaus.

"Let me go Klaus" she ordered. completely immobile.

"Its been long since I used my power like am supposed to" he walked to the bed and sat on the floor right at the side of the bed.

"Please don't use it on me find another place to do so" she snapped trying to free her hands but failed.

"I prefer it be you" she basked in the feeling of his hands on her hairline. He leaned in and kissed the side of her lips.

"Kiss me Ella" she cringed at the name but leaned closer and pecked his lips avoiding his searing gaze.

"Stop playing games with my lips" her heart skipped beats.
