She screamed. That was all she felt and heard and thought. He didn't fly he just fell, even his wings weren't out.

"Shh princess" he said but he wasn't helping with her panic. He wanted her to apologize just for being sarcastic and she would do it gladly just to end the horror she felt.

The ground below was starting to appear.

"Klaus this isn't funny" she whisper screamed.

"Its not supposed to be funny princess, now apologize" such a petty man, just sarcasm but she couldn't say that out loud or else this would happen again.

His voice was so calm, as if he had done this plenty of times. Maybe with another woman just like herself, a pang of jealousy hit her.

"Am sorry Klaus" she whispered. He obviously felt the change in mood and feelings.

" Louder I didn't hear you" the ground was clearer now.

"Am sorry" she screamed, literally. His wings appeared immediately and he flew just above the surface and went up.

"What's wrong?" he asked bringing her face closer to his.

"It's nothing" she wouldn't just tell him that she felt jealous of someone she didn't know flying with him. She had no right to be jealous.

His hand around her waist he pulled her flush against him and he pecked her lips once. The stillness and jealousy she felt a minute ago was shoved outside the window. She was pressed so close to him she could feel his breath on her lips. She had never thought of his scent but now, his scent was soothing, stimulating and overpowering at the same time. Making her forget that they were still in the air, his multitasking skills were exceptional.

An emotion bubbled deep inside her chest though she didn't understand it, it was unfamiliar, she leaned in and kissed his lips instead. She was sloppy but she kept going. Prying his mouth open she explored his mouth.

When she pulled away she looked away and breathed in greedily. He just watched her like a new piece of Art in his gallery. Lifting her chin up to look at him, he just observed those grey pretty eyes and long eyelashes. "You're becoming bold, it's like you were speaking another language to me"

She blushed hot. She must have been speaking the language of she didn't want him with another woman.

"So pretty" he said unknowingly his hand going to the back of her neck. She blushed, π‘Žπ‘”π‘Žπ‘–π‘›.

"Enough Klaus" she smiled and he stopped with a smile too. "Where are we going?"

He was flying above the sea, the water was so pretty and vast. It looked as if it connected with the clouds far ahead. Then she saw a beach with a cave upfront.

He slowed and stopped just where the water couldn't reach yet. The place looked serene and quiet. It felt like eternal peace.

"So?" she started.

"She'll be here in a few"

"Who?" he sat on the white sand and closed his eyes. He was tired obviously.

.

"Finally" the voice from behind startled her, an old lady with gray hairs that reached at her waist, crinkles at the side of her eyes and short in height smiled brightly at her/them.

"You finally come to see me Klaus, how long has it been?" she came and stood next to Aella.

"Fifty years Nonna" Aella's eyes widened, fifty years. Five good decades, even before she was born this man was still alive.

"Right, such a naughty boy right Cosgrove?" no body called her by her last name so she hesitated a little but also surprised that she knew her name.

"Indeed" she replied looking at Nonna his eyes opened and lit in excitement when she answered.

"She agrees with me, come with me he can stay outside for all I care as a punishment" Klaus smiled and looked at Nonna. Her voice was young and ripe, the amusement dripped off her tone as she held Aella's hand and pulled in towards the cave.

Nonna hummed as she led Aella deeper, it wasn't so dark. There was light at the end of the tunnel but hindered by the numerous green vines in which they walked through.

Bright light hindered her vision as she covered her eyes with back of her hand then peeked slowly.

There was nothing, just a waterfall then the rest was barren brown land and a small cottage house and smoke leaving the chimney. Why was she living in a half desert? she couldn't ask though.

Nonna was looking at her expectantly. "Beautiful isn't it?" to avoid being rude to the kind woman, she nodded with a smile.

"Yes very beautiful"

"The trees and birds, nature is just amazing" she walked into the desert in weird patterns and she followed her exactly that way.

"It is indeed"

Nonna stopped, turned and laughed, "What do you see Cosgrove?"

Had she seen through the lie, "I see nothing but a waterfall" she finally told the truth.

"I knew it, yet you agreed with me when I said trees," she shook her head in amusement "the youth never change"

"I-" she hesitated, she didn't know what to say.

"Don't worry about it Cosgrove, you'll see it soon luckily you can see the waterfall"

The small cottage door opened with a creak and they both entered. It wasn't small, the sitting area, kitchen a small door at a corner then stairs which went above. She wanted to explore this place.

"Took you both long enough, am tired going to sleep" he was already here and had graced himself with a cup of tea.

Nonna didn't acknowledge him as she sat on the couch lifting her feet on the couch, "Before you go son, give her a cup of tea and muffins" Aella sat opposite Klaus who huffed and did what instructed to do, Aella smiled.

"Very good son, now come rub my feet am very tired" she continued pestering him. He didn't object and continued to do so.

Aella had never seen Klaus do such a mediocre thing and he made it look so graceful and beautiful. She wished her feet could be rubbed too.

Nonna was asleep even before thirty minutes were over.

"She's very stubborn"

"Very stubborn to me mostly not my brother or sister" he said absent mindedly.

"Come let's go, she'll wake in a few minutes " Aella stood and interlaced her fingers with his. He was tired that he didn't feel the warmth that travelled throughout her body.
