"About the doppleganger thing"Sarin started the conversation she had been avoiding for a while now.

"Yes what about it?"

"I can't deal with that right now, I have to figure out somethings about myself first" Bethany immediately nodded in understanding.

"I understand you totally, I can help you by the way" Sarin paused on wiping the water out of her hair.

"Thankyou, I assume you know what am talking about"

"Partially but I have some little knowledge about the rules and harbour but in the process we'll break some rules" Beth grinned like the thought of breaking rules was so much and maybe it was.

"How do you know about my dreams" Sarin could remember even they came to Dalotopia, Bethany had mentioned something about wolves although that time she was referring to her Aunt who taken a hand in lying to her. She somehow guessed Beth knew.

"Your father mentioned it to me before he died"

"You knew him?"

"Yup, he's the one who told me take you away he knew the bandits would come and you'd be in danger" Beth explained.

"But am no powerful person those people wouldn't notice"

"Do you think those dreams you keep having any normal human being can have them, you literally screamed last night"

"What!?" she hadn't heard that right, right?

"You screamed, I had to put the room under a spell so no one else could hear you" she couldn't believe it, she never even thought she screamed in her dreams.

"Wow" she was literally speechless.

"You have alot to figure out and-" she was cut off by a knock on the door.

"You expecting someone?"

"NO" Beth opened the door, her mood instantly changed to one of anger and frustration. She looked down pinching the space between her eyes.

"What do you want?"

A male voice snickered at her angry question "You seem to forget am a prince and you should respect me" Prince Jurrian.

"And you seem to forget that you're not allowed to this side of the castle, prince or not" Beth scowled.

"Am not here to see you actually" Sarin frowned. Beth gestured for her to come to the door with slant of her head.

.

"May I help you Prince Jurrian" Sarin had put on a robe but those hawk like eyes of Jurrian still wandered. She felt like slapping him.

"No I wanted to give you a gift" he reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace.

It was made with pearls all round it, it wasn't beautiful. Compared to Grey's.

His smile faltered when he looked at her neck, "Seems like someone was quicker than I was" she smiled but said nothing. She sensed that he wanted to know much more about that 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑜𝑛𝑒.

"Take it, it was my sister's before she died" she picked it up and shoved it into the robe's pocket.

"Oh" the sad look on his face made her pity him. "Thanks" she felt his pain. Pain of loss.

"It's nothing, I should be thanking you since I know you'll keep it safer than I would have" he looked again at her neck. He looked like a nice guy but something was off about him.

"I'll leave you to it, have a good night" he dissapeared into thin air. She still hadn't gotten used to the use of magic around her all the time. Bethany and Ava were the one who rarely used magic.

She closed the door and looked at Bethany who was burning herself on the palm with the hot candle wax. She didn't hiss or flinch.

"I wouldn't wear or touch it if I were you" Sarin took it out of her pocket to asses it.

"First that stupid bastard didn't and doesn't have a sister" her facial expression turned into one of disgust and silent anger, "Secondly it belongs to a dead person" Sarin dropped almost immediately.

She placed the candle on top of the table and took the necklace "Its almost fifty years old, he just took it from a graveyard cleaned it and gave it to you, sick man"

"Why would he give me that and also lie to me?" Sarin asked, stunned. Why would he lie and fein to be sad about his dead sister plus a dead person's necklace. She had actually felt real Sympathy for him.

So gross.

"Because he thinks you are a naive little human girl, who he can eventually control to get information from"

"I have alot of questions, first what information? Second, why would he lie knowing that you heard each lie?"

"The first question i'll explain but not now, there is too much explaining to do, I promise and secondly, he told you so that I could tell you that it is a lie then later on he will take you and show you proof of a younger sister who apparently died, which is a lie, so that you can end up distrusting me, in short he wants you to lose trust in me and trust what he tells you" she got the concept, somehow.

"Just wait and you'll see him here again, he's an actor and a very good one at that" Beth continued. She trusted Beth more than anyone else in the castle although he played she had played a dirty game on her the previous week, she till trusted her.

"Ok Beth" she yawned, Bethany put the necklace in a small pot with ash in it and closed it tight.

"Let's sleep, tommorow am taking you to Oak harbor" Sarin yawned again and with that thought, she prayed to not dream or scream, then fell asleep.
