Earlier with Klaus And Aella.

"Am not sitting at the front Klaus" she tugged at his arm and pulled him back.

"Yes you are, because you're sitting next to me" as if that would assure her. What if someone recognized her? What if they said that she killed the men from that night while it was Klaus?

Too many what ifs.

"What if-" her hands were shaking but she didn't feel it compared to the dread she felt.

"All people in this place are members of other Imperials so you don't need to worry about anything, if anyone touches you inappropriately in case am not around, burn them to crisp I don't care who it is"

"Ok" she agreed knowing no matter what she couldn't burn anyone to 'crisp'.

"You should meet my brother" he led her to man same in height and their physical similarities close but he had blue green eyes not like Klaus's green ones.

"Karl meet Aella Cosgrove"

"Nice to meet you" Karl slid his palm under hers and kissed her knuckles gentlemanly.

Even Klaus had never done that, she flushed pink.

"Nice to meet you too" Karl smiled mischievously at Klaus tauntingly then back to Aella.

"Calm down brother am not going to eat her unless" he paused looking back at Klaus "she let's me" he winked and walked away.

Klaus growled inaudibly and led her to the front pews. Jealous Klaus. Her pretty red dress swirled at her feet when she sat.

How he always knew the perfect size for her, she didn't know. Even the shoes and jewelry, everything. He had a soft spot for fashion.

His pointer finger drew circles at the back of her palm, where his brother had kissed as if rubbing it off.

"We are gathered here..." The bride, Ruel and bride Enisa looked really good together. A family portrait of them two with some kids would look good.

Klaus left her side during the reception after some man asked for him but he promised to be back soon.

.

She zoned in her hearing senses to different conversations. She heard everything they said which wasn't normal but she liked it.

With this she could hear if anyone recognized her which wasn't an impossibility.

"Hello, Am Enisa" Enisa smiled at her gathering some attention from the people around.

"Aella" she acknowledged politely.

A wave of silence passed while they awkwardly looked at each other until Ruel cleared his throat and they both looked at him.

"Am Ruel" his energy was dominant around them. He was good looking for a beautiful woman as Enisa.

Her eyes brightened as she looked at him. So this was love huh?

We're she and Klaus in love or not?

She was but was he?

"Aella, nice to meet you two"

Ruel smiled pulling Enisa to his side.

"So are you Klaus in love or are just his date and nothing more" it wasn't a rude question but a friendly one but it stung.

What exactly was she to Klaus. Why was it bothering her so much anyway so she pushed the stab of pain to the bottom of her heart.

"Just a date"

"I don't think so" Enisa said looking to be in thought.

"Me neither" Ruel agreed with his wife.

"Why don't you think so?"

"I don't know him alot but as a man myself and what I observed earlier, he's possessive of you he never let go of your hand during the but with you he does and the last time he cared he was just pretending and left her at the alter" q just some basic news but it wasn't for her.

He left a girl at the alter.

"Oh, he didn't tell you, let me tell you the details, excuse us Ruel please" Ruel walked away to some guests with the most comfortable of smiles.

"On the wedding day, Patsy, the bride arrived to find him already at the church. She was so happy and so was his family but during the exchange of vows he said he didn't have the ring with him so he went to get it and never came back" she finished with a smile as if that little story was very elating.

"Why do you look so happy about it, shouldn't you be sorry for her, the bride?" Aella asked.

"It was all mine Klaus's and Karl's plan since we disliked Patsy, she had treated us very badly before we moved with Noona"

"Oh"

"Yeah, it was petty of us but we wanted to teach her a good lesson to never mess with a Laviscount again" she said proudly.

"May I speak with you Enisa" a voice said from behind them. Enisa whispered an excuse me and walked away leaving her to her thoughts.

She stood and decided to look for Klaus herself since she was bored and the number of people she knew here were few.

The route to the House was small so she had to maneuver around or maybe it's because she didn't know the place well.

She heard a shuffle from the thicket then a small cry. She stopped, she litsened again to make sure she wasn't imagining things.

A sob. Was someone crying? Maybe it was someone playing tricks on her, she should just ignore it and walk away.

But, what if someone needed her help. She argued with her conflicting thought and did what she thought was wise.

Walking away was the best option for the time being and she could just look for someone else to help the person.

Walking through the last thicket she tripped almost ruining her pretty dress but the vines held her up. She smiled, happy that for once she helped herself even if it was just a small fall.

Another closer shuffle.
