"For someone who who couldn't help a person who needed help, I expected you could help yourself, pity" a voice said from behind her.

She tried to look but she couldn't. Her heart pounded in her chest. Blood pulsed faster to her head making feel like she was being pushed over the edge of a cliff.

"Come on guys" more vibrations from the ground beneath and behind her then multiple voices resounded behind her. If only she could see.

A knife sliced the vines holding both of her hands. She felt wetness on her right thigh. Sweat maybe?

Her hands were bound behind her before she could conjure up a way to help herself.

"Who are you?" she asked as a blindfold wrapped around her head covering her eyes but she could see through it. All those people had masks on them.

She was unusually calm, she observed as she was pushed past the thickets to a waiting carriage.

She had been going the wrong way the entire time.

"We are the friends of those people you killed" a rough voice said from behind her.

"What people?" the people that Klaus killed on her behalf.

"Stop playing dumb little Witch, we knew you'd come back"

"What are you going to do with me?"

Why was she so calm, even her voice was unusually calm and collected.

"Make you suffer then feed you to the wolves just like you did" he answered again.

Like you did- Like Klaus did. Klaus fed people to the wolves. Brutal.

"What if I kill you before you do" her head was shoved in the carriage forcefully.

"We'll make sure you don't" thinking she couldn't see, one of them pulled a vial from his pockets and shook it while smiling.

"How?" the liquid in it was blue green. It glowed too.

"We will-"

"Shut up, can't you see she's tricking you just to get more information from us" a man smacked the head of the earlier speaker who shut up, finally, but she had good information.

She came up with a plan fast, since she couldn't use her hands she would do what she had only done once and never told Klaus.

She shuffled her hands behind her, alarm crossed their features thinking she was doing something fishy.

"Give it to her now, she's doing something" an alarmed voice said. She almost smiled seeing they feared her as much she was scared.

The vial was placed on her lips, the sweet taste bloomed in her mind. Her body instantly felt cold and a headache hit her. Her vision blurred and immediately she left her body.

Just like last time with the serpents.

Her body fell frail on the seat. All of them watched her body turn light blue.

"What are we going to do now?" they took off their masks. She observed all the ugly faces staring at her body. Only one boy was not staring but smiling while looking outside.

He turned and looked at her with a grin. She frowned, could he see her?

She waved at him, just to be sure. He looked out again. He was a human, how could he see her.

"We are her dumping her body in the forest after we make her bleed" She stared at her helpless body shake due to the movement of the carriage.

"Why make her bleed?" the boy asked.

"She made our friends bleed plus it'll be easier to attract the wolves in the forest"

She moved past the walls of the carriage and followed the trail to the Imperial house. Her body needed saving and she couldn't do that in her ghost form.

KLAUS'S POV

Paul's complains fell on deaf ears. No one wanted to be the next Imperial House Master.

"What about Grey Mason?" another man asked.

"No, not him" he said removing the topic of Grey from the house. He would be king soon there was no way he could be here anymore.

Paul seemed to agree as he nodded. "May I leave now?" it's the respect he had for Paul that made him stay till now.

"Yes"

He walked out ready to find Aella, he had left her for way to long already but this had to be done before he finally came back. He looked around and missed her scent or presence. Even her scent wasn't anywhere around the area.

Enisa approached him with a wide smile, "Who are you looking for, you look troubled?"

"Aella, I can't find her" he said scheming the place again. Aella had a tendency of attracting trouble and now he guessed it was no less.

"She really is your oxygen nowadays, huh?" she asked teasingly punching lightly on his arm.

"I'm already dead Enisa, I don't need oxygen" he snapped. Her sole intentions was to annoy him so he faked anger.

"She's making you human, look how worried you look" she peeked at his face chuckling lightly.

"It's only for her and not for you, have you seen her?" his tone softened turning to look at her.

"I was with her a few minutes ago, over there" she pointed to a seat but it was empty.

A chill ran down his back and he turned around. Her scent filled his nostrils but not entirely.

"Do you feel cold?" he asked Enisa. It was a sunny so the probability of feeling cold was minimal.

"Its wet actually" Enisa squatted and felt the grass. Dew. "I think it's her, I can feel her, hold my hand Klaus"

He held her hand and she seemed to be litsening for a minute then looked at him.

"She's been kidnapped" his blood boiled. Who was messing with him on this beautiful day?

"By whom?" Enisa was drawing strength from him while litsening.

"They're headed to the forest" then her eyes widened, "the one you killed the others from"

He remembered it, the one he left the man who'd slapped Aella to die from. He didn't kill him, he let the wolves have a good evening meal.

"Her body is in a carriage headed there" he frowned.

"Body?"

"Yes, she'll explain later just find her before they hurt her" she let go of him.

He winnowed directly to the junction that went to the forest and the other side of the town.
