Third Person's Pov

3 days after the audition.

Mr. Alex gives them a week to adjust their schedule.

Dara went to the restaurant as usual. She is still figuring out how to tell Eli about her new path for acting, thinking that this will make Eli more worried about her.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so excited to shoot." Uriah said.

They were in the back of the restaurant using Selah's laptop to check Dara and Uriah's emails. The result for their audition from the other day will be announced today.

"You should think first if you got the role or not!" Selah replied, crashing his dream. She opened her laptop and logged into his account.

"My horoscope says that I am lucky today. I even wear my red neckerchief to attract more luck. I'm confident that I will get the male lead role". He replied back and stood confidently.

"As if. I'm 100% sure you can't get that role because you're gay". Selah said in disgust.

Dara sat next to Selah while watching them argue as always. She's getting used to it.

"Stop discriminating against me. Yes I am gay but a gay like me can also conquer the world!" Uriah confidently replied.

Dara admires Uriah for being confident about the things he likes. Unlike her, who doesn't even know what she really wants to do in life.

"Whatever!" Selah lastly said before proceeding to her laptop.

"I'm so excited!" Uriah singing. He moved the chair to see the screen closely.

"So do I," even though Dara's nervous, she already prepared herself for any possible outcome, even the worst.

"Who's going first?" Selah asked, looking to Dara before Uriah.

"Uriah first," Dara said immediately. He looked at her and pouted.

"Tss, fine. Open it quickly," said Uriah. Selah slowly pressed the left click on her mouse.

Dara was nervous as they opened the email.

"Oh my God!" Uriah said with tears in his eyes.

I was not looking at the screen because I'm sitting on Selah's side so I asked.

"Why? What does it say?" moving closely at her laptop.

A big Congratulations was written on the screen.

"Congrats. I'm happy for you. You got the lead role you wanted," I said, praising him.

Uriah wept for joy as he hugged us.

"Thank you. I was looking forward to it but I couldn't help but cry because of happiness" Uriah said.

Selah was betterly smile but Dara knows she's also happy for him.

After absorbing the moment, they composed themselves and turned back again to Selah's laptop.

"Let's open yours," Selah said referring to Dara's turn and logged in her account.

The anxiety hits Dara on the verge of passing out. There is a part of her that is reluctant to see the outcome, but there is also a part of her that is curious about it.

"Are you ready?" Uriah asked, looking straight at her.

Dara took a deep breath and said, "I'm ready!"

"Alright, I'll click it now," Selah said, which made her heart skip for a second.

She closes her eyes, letting them see first.

A minute went by during which they remained silent. Dara was curious why both of them didn't say anything.

'Did the electricity go out?' she thought.

When she slowly opens her eyes, they both look at me as if they see a ghost in me.

"What's wrong?" Dara curiously asked because of their reaction.

Uriah didn't say anything. Instead, he moved the laptop on Dara's way and saw a Bold font of Congratulations written on it.

"Oh my God, I made it," she said happily but their reaction is still the same.

"Did you read it carefully?" Selah asked, which confused her.

"It says you pass not as Athena but as Cassandra! The female lead!" Uriah said.

I was shocked and immediately checked the email again. "Congratulations for getting the role of Cassandra. The female lead," Dara read out loud.

'His right. The email indicates that I got the female lead,' she thought to herself.

"Oh my God!" She said surprisingly.

"I told you. You're capable of acting in the lead role," Uriah said, giving her a big smile.

"Congrats, we are proud of you," Selah said and they both hugged her.

Meanwhile, there's Dara who hasn't processed what is happening yet.

"Did I really get the female role?" She asks, not believing them or the mail.

"Haven't absorbed it yet? You really get the role!" Selah replied.

"But what if I failed? I might not be able to portray her properly," Dara replied, afraid to make a mistake because it was her first time.

"Don't think like that. They will not give you that role if you are not capable. One more thing, you're good, that's why you get the role. Just always remember to act with your heart so you can feel your role more. Ok?" Selah said.

"I agree. Don't lower yourself too much girl. I also just like you when I was young but because of training, workshops, and the help of others. I made it and have the chance to perform on stage." Uriah said, encouraging her.

Dara felt relieved after hearing those words of wisdom from them.

"Maybe you're right. Thank you, guys. If you weren't here for me, I might have backed out already," she replied to them and smiled.

"So now, what are you going to do? Are you guys really about to give it a try?" Selah asked. Out of the three of them, Selah is more practical when it comes to thinking.

"I will and I'm planning to resign here," Uriah uncomfortably said, which made the other two shocked.

"What! For real?" Selah angrily said. There was anger and annoyance in her voice.

Dara felt a little concerned because she thought that the atmosphere was different.

Uriah and Selah were only high school students when they entered the restaurant as waitresses. The restaurant helped them a lot, that's why Selah reacted like that.

"Sorry, I just want to follow my heart. Of all people, you're the most knowledgeable about my dream. Back then, I always dreamed of standing in front of everyone, where the spotlight is," Uriah can't help but be emotional about the situation.

"Tss, do what you want. Just don't change and forget about me," Selah stated, awkwardly looking away.

"How can I forget about you? We're twins, remember?" He replied.

Dara felt touched and smiled.

"Oh my gosh, I thought you were going to fight for real," she said, slightly swiping her tears.

"She only just fought me because she didn't know how to express herself," Uriah explained.

"No, I'm not," Selah defending herself.

"Yah, whatever," he simply said and they all laughed about it.

"Anyways, how about you Dara? Have you thought about what to do with your work?" Uriah asked.

"I am also thinking of resigning from my other work including this but I will leave my work at the club," she answered.

"Why?" He asked again.

"The thing is, that club gives both of me and Eli another life. I can't change it for anything," Dara answered.

"You're so brave and down to earth," Selah commented.

"I guess so. I thought I couldn't count everything for this new opportunity. The outcome of the path I will take is not always so good and bright for me," Dara stated.

"Why always think ahead of time? You have become infected by Selah, always over thinking about what hasn't happened yet," Uriah commented.

"Cause it's the right thing to do. You should be like her. Think ahead of time," Selah agreed.

"Whatever," Uriah said, avoiding the topic.

"Sight" Selah's tired from looking after him.

"Let's eat. Our food is getting cold," Uriah suggested.

They eat happily knowing the good news  and smile the entire shift as if nothing bad happened.
