The Shen Sect disciples continued to converse, and Wu Ling remained in her current position in the cave and overheard the disciples' conversation. Wu Ling was able to deduce the reason for her capture from their words. Because of her great tribulation, almost all of the world's major beings are looking for her, the only 'Immortal' who hasn't yet ascended to the Immortal Realm.
However, Wu Ling is perplexed as to why the apparent leader is certain that she has not yet entered the immortal realm. When Wu ling has integrated into this world, she decided to investigate this matter. Wu Ling's destination would be a nearby city library. She has to go there unnoticed and quickly skim through all the books about this world, whether history or otherwise. The original 'Wu Ling' had never read books about their world and were solely focused on cultivation, oblivious to everything else. Only knowing there are four cities and major sects, including the Demon City.
Wu Ling and the original have a similar personality in this regard - indifference. One is only concerned with studying, while the other is concerned with cultivation. They both have a single goal in mind and are unconcerned about anything else.
Wu Ling paused her eavesdropping and returned her attention to the enigmatic pond. Wu Ling searched for traces of its origin but was unsuccessful. Wu Ling, on the other hand, was not disappointed. It would have been too easy if she had discovered its source in such a short period of time. Wu Ling decided to disregard the water after discovering nothing about it. It doesn't matter whether she knows or not. It will not change the fact that she must protect this location.
Wu Ling made the decision to wait until the cultivators outside leafed out. As a result, instead of reading to pass the time while waiting, she decided to sleep. And, despite the fact that she had been hibernating for a month, the memories of 'Wu Ling' kept her concioussness awake. As a result, she requires adequate rest.
Wu Ling closed her eyes and fell asleep as the darkness engulfed her.

Qi Dan, a direct disciple of the Shen Sect, stayed at Fu Ruan Mountain for three days before leaving after discovering no traces of the immortal. Wu Ling was just thinking at the time about knocking them out so she could finally move around; Wu Ling is really fed up with being trapped in the cave.
When Qi Dan finally decided to leave, her raging thoughts calmed down. Only God knows what kind of disaster Qi Dan had just narrowly avoided.
Qi Dan, who was currently riding his sword, felt a cold chill run down his spine, causing him to shiver. Qi Dan can't help but suspect that someone is attempting to harm him right now. He looked back in the direction they had just come from, and his eyes showed that he was suspicious and debating whether or not to return.
His thoughts were interrupted when his younger brother called his name and began talking to him. This caused Qi Dan to forget about the matter at hand. God has stopped another disaster from happening to you, Qi Dan ah.
Wu Ling put on her mask and left the cave after ensuring that the disciples had indeed left. Wu Ling felt guilty seeing the decayed vegetation around her because she was the reason they died. Wu Ling, despite her indifference, adores plants and animals.
As a result, she attempted to heal the withered plants by gently spreading her immortal qi over them. Wu Ling had no expectation that it would work, but to her surprise, new life began to sprout from the ground at a rate visible to the naked eye. She was overjoyed when she saw this, though her emotions couldn't be seen on her face because she's used to having a paralyzed face and because of the mask on her face.
As a result, to those who don't know her, she appears to be doing this casually. Especially in the eyes of Jilang, who has been waiting for her for over a month, following his instincts. Wu Ling in his eyes, with her long jet black hair flowing in the breeze, the mask on her face and a calm and indifferent demeanor, made him feel she was out of reach.
Wu Ling had already noticed this presence, and she isn't afraid to confront him because she knows his cultivation stage. She looked straight in the direction of that presence and made eye contact with Jilang after restoring the vegetation around her.
Jilang was taken aback when Wu Ling's gaze locked on him, meeting those dark purple eyes square in the face. Jilang, for unknown reasons, did not immediately vanish as he should have; instead, he was rendered immobile by Wu Ling's gaze. Because of those eyes, he can't seem to move.
Jilang blinked his eyes closed, and when he opened them again, Wu Ling had vanished. Jilang sighed in relief at being able to remove himself from Wu Ling's gaze and decided to return to inform the Demon Venerable of the news.
Jilang was taken aback when his neck was grabbed from behind just as he was about to leave. Wu Ling concealed herself and appeared behind him unnoticed. Jilang was terrified because the pressure around Wu Ling made him feel suffocated, and his instincts all told him to flee. Unfortunately, Jilang is unable to flee because his neck is in Wu Ling's grasp.
"Hmm? A Demonic Cultivator? " Wu Ling muttered, her voice filling the place with a terrible pressure. Jilang was drenched in cold sweat all over, alarm bells ringing throughout his body.
Wu Ling spared his neck because she had already confirmed that this demonic cultivator had no ill will toward her. Jilang was made to kneel, and he coughed as he breathed heavily. The pressure pressing on him had also been reduced slightly, but it was still there, ready to kill him if he made the wrong move.
"Tell me, who sent you?" Wu Ling's voice was slow, sending shivers up Jilang's spine. He kept his head down and didn't say anything. Even if he is terrified, he will never sell out his Venerable. This is his pride in being the Demon Venerables' most devoted subject.
