Test of Endurance

Achilles stared at the Shadow with dark resentment. He was running out of cards to deal with this thing at this point.

To fight against a beast that could pretty much see through most of his moves, and was constantly evolving at a rapid pace was not a simple ordeal.

Although he had attempted to analyze the abomination to upgrade his own skills as well, his speed could never be compared to what the beast was going at. It was near impossible to hope about catching up to it, let alone surpassing it.

However, that didn't mean this creature was unbeatable, there had to be a way to end its life.

The Shadow seemed to have lost its patience and dashed at Achilles. The latter tried to avoid the strike but was unable to, so he had no choice but to attempt to block it.

Bang!

A small frown formed on his face when he felt the power coming from the attack. He jumped back a few meters away while thinking:

'This power...'

He had a small idea.
