Shadow Domain

The sudden change in the environment was definitely not a good sign. Heck, any transition in the midst of battle was never a good sign at all.

A sense of foreboding filled Achilles' whole body as he subconsciously glanced at the ceiling. The numerous lights on the ceiling now had a blanket of shadows covering them. Not enough to completely block the light source, but sufficient to create an abundance of shadows resting on the floor.

Achilles frowned slightly as he glared at the beast who was still grinning with its big white teeth. He muttered doubtfully:

[What the hell did you do?]

The Shadow smiled creepily at him without saying anything. A moment later, its body slowly dissolved as if it was a melting ice cube.

'...!'

Achilles rushed after it and tried to stop the monster from disappearing, but it was too late. The abomination still maintained its hideous grin and then blended into one with the shadows.
