In the blink of an eye, Fang Xian was transported to the inheritance realm.

In front of Fang Xian was a huge door which was decorated with gold and blue soul metal forming large, elaborate and elegant letters in a language Fang Xian had never seen before.

'This is Crimson Immortal's inheritance realm, it could create a being on par with my peak strength, let's see its grandeur.'

Fang Xian looked around, seeing the vast empty space.

There was nothing but the door.

He walked towards the massive door, raising his hand and awakening his soul qi.

When his hand touched the door, it transported Fang Xian inside.

The onlookers, the immortals, were all inwardly shocked.

'It seems Feng Shi has entered an inheritance before, he knows the procedure. How rare are inheritances, one in a million people will find one in their lifetime, and this boy has already found more than one. Truly worthy of being Crimson Immortal's fated inheritor, his innate luck must be outstanding!' All the immortals present had similar thoughts as they used the table to watch Fang Xian.

"My authority to watch Feng Shi only extends here. We must leave it to him now." Qi Sen sighed, this was an immortal rank four's arrangement, he couldn't interfere with it as a mere rank two immortal.

Inside of the inheritance, Fang Xian stood, admiring the grand hall he had been transported to.

It was like a church, even having a few stained glass windows dotted around the massive hall.

Fang Xian could feel dormant rank four immortal soul qi inside the framework of the hall, his licked his lips in greed.

'If I could obtain this, even a drop of rank four immortal soul qi and combine it with my rank four mortal soul qi, the difference of eight ranks would mean I would reach mortal rank eight!' Fang Xian had already experienced the feeling of instant rank advancement, he was still a human at the core, once he got a taste, he developed a craving. 'Haha, this is not possible though, me and Crimson Immortal do not have any relation, therefore I cannot combine my soul qi with his. Come to think of it, wasn't this included in one of Heaven Killing Demon Overlord's legends?'

He coveted it and tried to combine his soul qi with it for six months straight but to no avail.

He eventually gave up and after moving on, he inspected his soul land, noticing that it was almost dead!

He was too overcome by his own greed and didn't notice his own death approaching, he was too careless and too avaricious.

This was the main reason he created future self fusion in order to gain closure on the past.

In the end, even overlords were confined by human emotions, even the demon known as Heaven Killing for his notoriety was still a human with limited experience.

Fang Xian was different, you could say he was above the human realm in terms of emotions and viewpoint.

Fang Xian sighed and moved on, he did not care about the soul qi even though he believed he could harness it, he understood that the immortals might be watching and that there were more valuable treasures that he could without a doubt obtain.

At the end of the majestic hall was a large, grey stone door. Fang Xian opened it, entering the first room of the inheritance.

He saw many soul beast that were kept in glass cases, not dissimilar from a museum. Underneath the glass cases were gold plates with writing carved into the metal, displaying the name of the soul beast in large black letters and use of the soul beast in smaller also black letters.

Fang Xian walked towards the closest one, inspecting it.

'Heavenly Insight Soul Beast: Rank Four.'

'Allows user to gain inspiration and insight from heaven with a certain set success rate, every deduction will be correct, regardless of what anyone else says.'

'This is interesting, a version of heavenly insight at rank four. This would be helpful in creating soul techniques and soul beast recipes, also if I ever need information on something.' Fang Xian thought to himself, nodding his head in approval.

He did this to show the immortals who he thought were watching that he was interested in this soul beast, maybe they would provide him with a better version of it if they wanted something in return or if he did something good for them.

The next soul beast was the counter inquisition soul beast, also rank four. It directly countered methods that attempted to pry information on the user.

The third soul beast greatly interested Fang Xian, it was not a intelligence path soul beast like the others, it was from an obscure and ancient path, the will path.
