Unyielding Demon Soul(Dropped)

While the book has lofty ambitions, the actual delivery left me wanting more. The story attempts to deal with complex themes and its protagonist, named 'Fang,' is clearly based on the old xianxia novel Reverend Insanity, but all of this is done in a heavy-handed, disappointing manner without much subtlety. The characters, especially the supposedly wise and tranquil demon protagonist, come across as one-dimensional and cliched. The cultivation world building feels superficial and derivative of better works in the genre. The plot involving the demon's quest for heavenly power proceeds in a predictable and unoriginal fashion. The long passages of the MC's thought process often come across as bland and simple-minded. The unrestrained use of hyperbole makes the story's ambitions feel disproportionate to its actual substance and talents. In the end, this webnovel had some interesting elements in its premise but ultimately failed to live up to its lofty goals. The flaws in characterization, worldbuilding and plotting hold it back from truly capturing the transcendent and heavenly qualities it aspires to. It is also too obviously derivative of works like RI, without much creative vision or purpose of its own. While some readers seeking an easy, cliched and familiar cultivation tale may find enjoyment here, those seeking more depth and originality will likely be left unsatisfied.

Before death, he created a soul beast(main power system) that allowed him to reincarnate, albeit in the body of a human he never knew. He reincarnated endlessly for many milllennia and eventually managed to create an immortal version of the soul beast and managed to reincarnate to his original body. The main character is a demon, accursed and hated. He has infinite perseverance and is willing to do absolutely anything to achieve his goals. My main inspiration for this novel was Reverend Insanity by Gu Zhen Ren. While this novel itself is quite different from Reverend Insanity, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was called a clone of RI. The themes of this novel are the true essence of human nature and will, showing righteous characters as unscrupulous and demonic characters as being reasonable and sometimes kind. It is the point of view of a demon, who sees the world as nothing but a tool, seeing all humans as equal. This novel is not for the weak-minded, but if you are expecting a novel with irrational decisions and a kind MC, you are not in the right place. I hope you all can enjoy my story for what it is, with all its flaws and downs, and understand the messages I try to convey. Thank you for reading!

The novel starts with mc killing his little brother which tells you all you need to know which is that the mc is ruthless, benefit seeking and removes all obstacles from there roots whether through manipulation or murder so they don't come and bite him later on. Very similar to Reverend Insanity, so I have high hopes for this one

Great book, shows the mc with a single objective, to reach immortality, whether killing, betraying or any other method that makes him take another step towards the path of immortality.

mc is a wonderful, smart and evil character. The beginning of the story is wonderful. I hope it continues and does not leave the novel. Continue and do not lose hope. 100 chapters are just the beginning. Many followers who love evil deeds will come in the future. Good luck.
