Aurora eyes shot right open as Xavier pried open her mouth with his tongue. She could taste the blood on her tongue mixed in with his saliva and instantly became better but she didn't want the kiss to end. She loved the feeling of his lips on hers.
She arched her back, trying to deepen the kiss but Xavier pulled away from her last minute, making her frown with disappointment and dissatisfaction.
He ignored the little pout on her face as he carried her in his arms while getting up from his squatting position.
"What in the god's name did I just witness?" Xavier turned around and saw Leo standing behind him with a perplexed expression on his face.
Xavier just rolled his eyes then teleported himself in front of Aurora's house. When the guards saw him, they immediately came running towards him but just one look from him froze them in spot.
Aurora had somehow passed out in his arms but her colour was back on her face so he wasn't as worried.
He walked up to Aurora's room then gently placed her on the bed before straightening up.
"You are something else, little wolf" He murmured to himself. Just then, her parents barged into the room like raging wolves.
"What the fuck did you do to my daughter this time?!" Nikolas yelled as he glared at Xavier. They had all felt the vibration and he immediately knew it had something to do with this demigod so they had rushed home to find out if anything had happened to Aurora.
"What have you done to her?" Roseline screamed as she ran over to the bed and caressed Aurora's face. Xavier ignored their question as he walked over to Aurora's closet and began ransacking through her things.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Nikolas questioned as he rushed forward to stop him but before he could, Xavier pulled out the syringe containing his blood and showed it to them.
"She has not been taking them so next time, ensure she does so she doesn't faint again" He muttered then placed the syringe on the table and with one last glance at Aurora, he vanished, leaving Nikolas and Roseline speechless.

As soon as Xavier appeared back in his cave, he let out a sigh when he saw Paxton and Leo seated on the ground with solemn looks on their faces as they stared at him.
"I really don't have the energy for you both so get out" Xavier muttered as he plopped down on the ground with a sigh.
"He kissed her," Leo whispered as he disapprovingly shook his head.
"I've been trying to tell him that he's getting too attached to her but he doesn't listen" Paxton whispered back.
"Why didn't you stop him then?" Leo uttered as he turned to Paxton.
"I tried but she can summon him now and she's in love with him" Leo gasped dramatically.
"What? Who does she think she is? I should have killed her when I fucking had the chance" Xavier groaned.
"Can you both shut the hell up?! I really need to rest and you both aren't helping matters" He boomed then placed his head in his hand as he took deep breaths.
Leo furrowed his eyebrows as he stood up from the ground and walked up to Xavier.
"What's going on with you? Why do you look so pale?" Paxton sighed as he stood up.
"He used up too much of his energy today and it's affecting him" Leo frowned as his eyes trailed down to the stake.
"I didn't even know he could move with that thing," Paxton nodded.
"Neither did we but Aurora can make him move when she summons him but if it gets too much, it drains his energy" Leo sighed.
"I guess this is practically my fault for making you fight, huh?" Xavier scoffed as he raised his head.
"You guess?" Leo sighed.
"I'm just trying to help you, Xavier. What are we supposed to do, just sit around and wait for a miracle? And why does that weak wolf think she can pull out the stake?" Leo questioned with confusion laced in his voice.
"Even though she's not an immortal, my blood does flow through her veins so she could have enough immortal power to pull it out" Leo furrowed his eyebrows as he nodded.
"That sounds plausible. Okay, I'll go bring her here and make her pull it out dead or alive" Leo muttered and was about to walk away when Xavier grabbed his hand.
"You will do no such thing. She'll pull it out when she's ready" Leo was flabbergasted by Xavier's word.
"What the heck is going on? In the past, you'd literally kill anyone who didn't give you what you wanted but when it comes to this wolf…"
"Little wolf" Paxton interjected, earning him a confused look from Leo and a glare from Xavier.
"What… what does that mean?" Leo questioned.
"That's what Xavier calls her, Little wolf. You should hear the way he says it" Leo flapped his arms exasperatedly then sat on the ground.
"I give up. I should have never woken up from my grave" He muttered.
"The stake will be pulled out soon, Leo, so don't worry about it," Leo scoffed.
"And how are you so sure? Just like Paxton said, she's in love with you. Don't you think she'll never want to pull the stake out so she can keep you here with her forever" Xavier pursed his lips as they all sat down in silence for a while.
"She won't want to keep me here against my will, Leo. She's not like that" Leo frowned.
"You can't be certain about that, Xavier. She…"
"She stopped taking my blood because she didn't want to be a burden, Leo. Despite knowing she would die without it, she stopped taking it and was gathering up to give it back to me. She won't keep me here, I know that. She's just scared that I'll kill everyone once the stake is pulled out" Leo shrugged.
"She has every right to be scared because you are going to kill everyone, including her. Am I right?" Xavier pursed his lips then turned around from Leo as he leaned on the wall, closing his eyes.
"When she's ready, she'll pull it out. Do not force fate to take its cause" Leo frowned. He didn't like any of this and he wasn't used to waiting around, doing nothing but he didn't want to go against Xavier.
"What about our realm? It's in ruins, Xavier. By the time your little wolf is ready, everything you have worked hard for would be diminished. Doesn't that bother you because it bothers me" Xavier opened his eyes slowly as he turned to Leo.
Leo and Paxton gasped with their eyes wide when they saw the look in Xavier's eyes. There wasn't any emotion in them but something about the way he glanced at them made chills go up their spine.
"If you really want to keep yourself busy Leo, how about you visit my dear brother and give him a little warning?" A big grin appeared on Leo's face as he cracked his knuckles.
"Now you're talking, my king"...
