Stop Being Stubborn!

"Who's Matthew?" I asked dumbfounded.

There was a screeching sound followed by the sound of horns. I and Arthur sat quietly as the noise quietened down.

{Yes, David?} Pearl said with a sigh.

"Uhmm, is everything alright?" I asked with a worried expression on my face.

{Yes, everything's fine.} she answered.

"Oh, ok, good. Sorry for disturbing you while you were driving." I said softly.

The entire time we were talking Arthur was rolling around on the floor with a dumb look on his.

Cutting the call a couple of minutes later, I glared at him.

"What?" he asked with a biased look on his face.

"I told you it was a bad idea, yet you still kept insisting." I said as I glared at him.

"Is it my fault you went along with what I said?" He asked as he looked at me with a brow raised.

"No, but it is your fault for suggesting it." I said and stood up.

"Oh, come on. Don't be like that." Arthur said as he got up as well and walked behind me as I walked out of the room.

"Be like what?" I asked as I stubbornly walked over to the kitchen.

"Stop being stubborn!" Arthur said as he followed behind me.

"Who's being stubborn?" I asked as I poured myself a glass of water and sat down at the table.

"You are!" Arthur yelled at me with an exasperated look on his face.

"No, I'm not." I defended myself as I sipped on the glass with a dignified expression.

"Yes, you are." Arthur said as he sat down at the table in front of me.

"Hm? Since when?" I asked as I looked up at him with a solemn look.

"Ughh, fine, you win. I'm sorry for whatever reason you are mad. Now, let's be civilized adults, and go get some more video games." Arthur stated as he put his head down on the table.

"Maybe tomorrow, it's getting late." I said as I stood up and went to put the glass on the counter.

"Bleh, fine. We'll go tomorrow. Anyway, I gotta go now." Arthur said as he got up again and walked out of the kitchen.

Walking out of the kitchen, I went and sat down on the couch in the living room as Arthur came down with his phone.

"Goodbye, dear friend, hope to see you tomorrow." Arthur said with a solemn look on his face as he waved at me and walked out.

I got up with a sigh and went back to the gaming room. Picking up all of the games that were littered here and there, I put them back in their places.
