Are You Crazy?!

The whole day I was dragged around by Arthur going around to different game stops and places.

He only took a break when it was starting to get dark.

We sat down on a bench at the nearby park with all of the shopping bags sitting in front of us.

"I am never, never ever, going to go shopping with you again." I said as I let out a breath. "Not even Lia was as big of a shopaholic as you are."

"Oh, boohoo. It ain't my fault you need to refresh everything in that boring room you call a gaming room." Arthur complained as he stuck his tongue out at me.

"It's not my fault I don't even play them. I only play them when you come around." I said as I glared at him. "And put that stupid tongue of yours back in your mouth or I'll cut it off."

"Jeez, stop being so moody." Arthur said rolling his eyes at me.

"C'mon, let's get back now." I said getting up and picking up a few of the bags.

"Hey, David?" Arthur called as he picked up some bags and walked after me.

"What?" I asked.

"You think we should tell Pearl at this point?" He asked.

"Tell her what?" I asked back as I opened the back door of the car and put the bags in.

"You know, about your accident..." He said as he put the rest of the bags in the back seat and sat down in the front with me.

"What?! Are you crazy?!" I yelled at him as I started the car.

"It's only fair. I mean, she is your wife. She has a right of knowing." Arthur said with a small frown.

"No, we can't tell her." I said as I drove out of the parking lot.

"And why not?" Arthur asked with a brow raised.

"We just can't. Now drop it." I said and then we both sat silently till we got back.

Arthur helped put everything in place before he left then I went to go get some work done in the study.
