Can We Talk?

Waking up, I sat up straight and stretched my arms. Getting out of bed, I walked over to the bathroom and washed my face.

Walking out into the wardrobe a couple of minutes later, I got changed and went to get my phone.

Picking up my phone I went and stood in front of the mirror to check my appearance.

I was wearing a simple black-white striped shirt with jeans and sneakers.

Checking my messages, I walked out of the room and went downstairs.

There was a message from David saying that he'd been dragged by Arthur to go get more videogames.

I sat down at the table as Mrs. Gray was making breakfast.

After I ate lunch, I walked out of the kitchen and sat down on a couch in the living room.

Just then I got a call from June. Picking it up, I put the phone to my ear.

{Hey.} June said.

"Hi, what is it?" I asked as I fiddled with my fingers.

{Me and Vanessa are going to the theatre then we plan on going to get some icecream.} June said.

"K, I'll meet you there. Bye." I said and cut the call.

Getting up, I went back upstairs to get my bag then went back down to get the car keys.

Starting the car a couple of minutes later, I drove out of the garage and got onto the main road.

Getting off at the theatre, I went in and looked around the hall for June and Vanessa.

Just then someone grabbed me from behind and covered my eyes.

"Guess who!" came June's voice.

"I know it's you June." I said as I took her hands off my face and gave her a hug.

"C'mon, you two. The movie is about to start." Vanessa said as she grabbed both our arms and dragged us to the door.

After watching the movie, we went to the close by ice cream parlor to get ice cream.

After that, they dragged me off to the next-door arcade and did not let me leave till I had beaten them in almost all the games.

As I sat down in the car sometime later, it had already started to get dark.

Driving back, I got off the car a while later after parking it in the garage.

Walking inside, I went straight upstairs and changed out of my clothes.

David still wasn't back yet so I went ahead and went to sleep.

Waking up to the sound of my phone ringing, I looked at it to see that it was Arthur.

"Hello?" I said with a yawn.

{Hey, Can we talk?} Arthur asked.
