Helping Maggie

Ivy walks into the hospital with the twins where she then runs into Maggie, "Hey, Maggie. How are you doing today?"

She shrugs, "Pretty good. Avoiding Meredith at all costs, saving patients, trying to solve the puzzle."

"I get that. I have to drop the twins off at daycare, but see you either in the E.R. or for lunch?" Ivy asks.

"Yes, of course. See you then," Maggie nods before heading off.

Ivy looks at the twins, "I'm excited to see what she will do. Aunt Mer isn't being very nice to her though."

Moving through the cafeteria, Ivy makes it to Amelia, Maggie and Dr. Webber to hear Maggie ask, "I'm sorry. Is everyone in this room somehow related?"

She sits down, "Yup. I can list them all if you want help?"

"Please."

Ivy laughs, "Sure. So, you have Amelia, Derek and I who are siblings. Then you have Meredith, Derek's wife. Then you have my husband, Dr. Jackson Avery, who is a plastics attending here. His mother is dating Webber here. Uh, then you have Dr. Miranda Bailey and Dr. Ben Warren who are married, Dr. Jo Wilson and Dr. Alex Karev who are dating, and then Dr. Callie Torres and Dr. Arizona Robbins are married. I forgot to tell you before but if Dr. Hunt gives you a little bit if a struggle, he was married to Dr. Yang. I'm trying to get him to find other people to hang out with but it's a long process."

Maggie nods, "Yeah. It's going to take me a while to figure this all out. Uh,  thank you though for that run down."

"Of course."

Amelia smiles at her sister, "Hey, Ivy. I want to see my niece and nephew..."

"You're on the list, go," Ivy waves her off.

"Thank you," Amelia races off.

"How many of you have kids? I'm sorry, that was a really personal question, I did-" Maggie tries to back track.

Ivy and Webber laugh, "Its fine. Uh, well. You've seen mine and Jacksons 9 month old twins, Christopher and Alexus. Then there is Derek and Meredith's two kids, Zola and Derek Bailey. Uh, Dr. Bailey has a son from a previous marriage, Tuck. Arizona and Callie have a daughter Sofia, who is my goddaughter. Oh, and Dr. April Kepner is currently pregnant with her first child."

She nods, "Thank you for filling me in."

A pager goes off, Ivy looking down, "Oh, I'm sorry. E.R. needs me. Have a good lunch."

Ivy finds Owen, Jackson, and Bailey talking to Maggie and Wilson, "You know, I heard that. And I have to say, I think it's stupid. Genome mapping is like getting the answers in the back of the book. It is the key to so many medical solutions. Closing that program makes your board look like a bunch of morons."

She cuts in, "Maggie, before you continue, Jackson and I are voting members and Dr. Bailey isn't producing any results. She's wasting money and resources not to mention almost getting this hospital sued and her in jail because of that genome lab. Maybe if Dr. Bailey learned that she is wrong sometimes and how to respect others, she could keep her lab. But the risk outweighs the good."

"Oh, I'm so sorr-" Maggie starts apologizing.

"Don't worry about it. Your ideas are coming from scientific facts, Dr. Baileys is from her despising of us board members even though she wants on it," Ivy smirks at Bailey.

As Maggie goes to talk to Meredith, Jackson drags Ivy away, "Okay, whats up with you? You were so happy this morning."

She sighs, "Bailey is walking around like she's guaranteed the spot on the board in which she hates. She acts like she's the queen of the land and we're all wrong. Does she forget that she almost went to jail? That she violated a little boy and his parents wishes? I can't work with her on the board. I will kill her and then I'll go to jail and you'll be left to raise the twins by yourself."

"No, I'd get my mom to come help me raise them. Look, you shouldn't spend all of your time stressing about Bailey because at the end of the day, your decision will put her on the board or not. The rest of us follow you more than anyone else because you have the best instincts. Relax or I'll have to make you relax," he smirks.

"And how would you do that?" Ivy asks, already leading him to an on call room.

"Thats for me to know," kiss, "And you to enjoy."

Walking into the scan room, she finds Amelia and Maggie, "She had a stroke after sex?"

Amelia nods, "You know, I was thinking that I have had good sex, but I've never had put you in the hospital sex. I feel like I'm missing out."

Maggie tries to go back to medical talk, "So, I was thinking, could the clot be coming from some-"

"I mean, I don't want a stroke, but I'd like to get close."

"The clot could have come from someplace else."

"Guess that what you call one mind blowing orgasm," Amelia says, causing Ivy to laugh.

"Are you done?"

Ivy shakes her head, "She has at least one more."

Amelia shrugs, "He nearly screwed her brains out. I'm done."

Maggie nods, "And I found one in her leg."

"I have not had sex in a long time," Amelia sighs.

"You're preaching to the choir, sister," Maggie nods before high fiving Amelia.

They turn to Ivy, who looks at her watch, "I had sex about 15 minutes ago."

Amelia and Maggie groan as Ivy defends herself, "You two have seen my husband. Plus, we own this hospital so we can do whatever we want."

Going back to the patient, "The clot in her left leg meant there must be a hole in her heart. Through which the clot in her leg, with help from pressure changes during very good sex, traveled from the right to the left chamber of her heart, on up to her brain. Now I just have to plug the hole like...this."

Sitting with Amelia in the view room, Ivy says over the speaker, "Nice catch,  doctor. Or should we say..."

Her and Amelia sing together, "Chief of cardiothoracic surgery."

"Oh, dear God. You two heard."

"Your parents sound like very sweet people," Amelia comments, handing Ivy some of her food.

"They are. They're very sweet and very funny and nothing at all like me. No understanding of what I do or why I like doing it," Maggie tells them.
