, caused Allison to open her eyes as she, Meredith and Cristina jolted right up to sit down looking at their phones for the time to make sure they didn't miss the phone call.

Cristina swore, "Oh, my God! The phone!"

"We should've gotten up earlier for some coffee." Allison rubbed her eyes, her back resting against Cristina's headboard.

"Not helping, Allie." Meredith warned, handing Cristina her phone as they waited for a call from the Avery Foundation.

Cristina Yang was on the short list of being nominated for a Harper Avery, which is why Meredith and Allison slept over to be there with her once she got the phone call and Cristina wouldn't have it any other way, having her close friends with her.

"Did we remember to—" Cristina began to say, freaking out whether they missed the time.

"No, no, it's—it's charged." Meredith assured her friend, looking at the percentage of the phone, which was fully charged.

"Oh, god." Cristina groaned, as she flopped back down on the mattress.

"It's charged and the ringer's on." Meredith continued to assure her, reaching for a lipstick, "Okay, hold on. You got to put on some lipstick."

"What if—" Cristina began.

"Don't." Allison warned cutting her off, "It's not possible because Catherine Avery—my mother-in-law said that you were on the short list, and your project is—it's innovative, it's gonna lead to actual printing of hearts."

"Millions will be saved." Meredith nodded, agreeing with her friend.

Cristina grew anxious by the minute, wanting to get the phone call already she looked at the both of them, "What time is it?"

Allison glanced at her phone to look at the time, as she saw messages from Jackson as well, "5:01."

Alex walked towards Cristina's room, popping his head inside the room, "Did they?"

"Not yet." Meredith informed him, shaking her head, while Cristina groaned.

Seconds later Jo walked in standing at the doorway of the room next to Alex, "Did they?"

Alex and Jo walked towards the bed as they sat down on the edge, waiting for the call, while Cristina just grew more anxious by the minute.

"Okay, listen, if there are five nominees, it's going to be alphabetical." Allison pointed out, "Yang is last."

Meredith, Alex and Jo nodded their heads knowing the brunette had a point. The silence was unbearing until a phone began to ring causing everyone to freak out before Jo held up her phone that was ringing.

Cristina groaned, narrowing her eyes at the intern, "Oh, geez, hairball."

"Oh, sorry! It's Shane." Jo apologized, standing up to take the phone call, pressing her phone against her ear, "Hey...no...Uh, not yet, but it's still early...It's Uh—"

"5:02." Cristina sighed, everyone's eyes on her phone that laid on the bed. Cristina turned her head to look at the two girls, "Mer, Allie, seriously what if they don't call?"

Before any of the girls could reassure her, the sound of the phone ringing caught their attention. Cristina looked down at her phone making sure it was her phone that was ringing this time. Screams began to escape out of everyone's lips except for Alex, who covered his ears with his hands, wincing at the yelling.

"Oh, my God. Oh, my God." Cristina's eyes widened as she picked up the ringing phone looking at her three friends, "What do I do?"

"Answer it!" Allison and Alex said unison.

Cristina held up the phone showing it to them, "It's Boston. It's them. It's them."

"Okay." Meredith nodded, holding up her own phone ready to take reaction pictures of Cristina when she got the news, "You are gonna be gracious and humble. You are gonna thank them, but you are not gonna grovel. You remember who you are. You are Cristina Yang, and you are going to change the face of medicine. Go."

"Just answer the damn phone" Alex impatiently said.

"Oh, shh. Quiet!" Cristina hushed everyone, as she lifted herself up, standing on the mattress and answered the call. "Hello?...Yes, this is Cristina Yang."

Allison exited the elevator, her bag resting on her shoulder, her hair was loose, her eyes went down the hallway where she spotted her husband. She walked over to him, once Jackson turned around and spotted his wife, he smiled.

"Hey." Allison greeted him, before pecking his lips as he smiled, "I missed you last night."

"Hey." Jackson said, observing her outfit before wrapping his arm around her, "Did you go home before coming here?"

"Yeah, I felt nasty coming in with just sweats so I went home to change." Allison informed him, the two walking down the hallway.

"Cool news about Yang though, huh?" Jackson asked.

After Cristina answered the phone call, they have informed her that she was indeed nominated for the Harper Avery Award. The group celebrated and hugged her, congratulating her. The news was out and soon the whole hospital was talking about Cristina being nominated.

"Yeah, you should have seen her this morning." She looked at her husband raising a brow, "You really didn't know?"

"I'm telling you, the nominating committee is totally separate from the foundation." Jackson lightly chuckled as he informed her, "I'm just like everybody else."

Allison grinned, "Hmm, only way handsomer."

Allison and Jackson continued to walk to the attending lounge, once they did Allison changed into her scrubs as the two continued to talk about not wasting money for things that aren't necessary such as buying coffee everyday.

"I'm just saying babe, a cup of coffee everyday isn't necessary." Allison started putting on her lab coat—her new lab coat that now has her now last name, . "I mean, I could make you coffee, to-go."

Jackson shook his head as he pointed out, "Sometimes we don't have time to make coffee."

"I know." Allison sighed, making her way towards him, "But when we do have time, I will make you coffee, so we wouldn't waste as much—that's all I'm saying."
