I met Alan and Blake at the park. Blake was excited too see me. I was just as excited too see him.
“Are ya daddy’s girlfriend now?” He asked me while I swung on the swings with him. I almost catch Alan openly grimacing, which I give him a glare. He rolls his eyes at me with a smile.
”Nope. Your daddy is just a real good friend.” I tell Blake. Alan continues to push him on the swing.
“You said that bout Uncle Wayne!” Blake said loudly. The other children’s parents looking over at us.
”Why don’t ya go play with the other kids, buddy.”
”But daddy I..”
”If ya wanna stop at the ice cream shop on our way home, get gone boy.” Alan said. A smiling playing on his lips. Blake’s face lit up, a smile spreading across his face.
”Okay!” Blake shout out before jumping from the swing, and running off with the other kids.
Alan and I went to the furthest picnic table but close enough for Alan to keep his eyes on Blake.
”So, Bailey Smitt what ya wanna talk bout?” Alan asked sitting.
