Chapter Twenty Nine

I woke up in an open field filled with flowers and green grass. I sat up and blinked a few times. Where did the forest go? I pushed myself off the ground and scratched my head. I had no idea where I was or how I got here.

"Okay..." I tapped my chin and placed a hand on my hip. "The sun is there... so that means... I have no idea. I'm lost." I groaned. I wasn't even gonna try to pretend I knew where I was.

"That's fine, I'll just go this way." I took a step to my left, but a harsh breeze pushed me back. I landed on my butt and felt my blood boil. "What the?" I pushed myself up and tried to step in the same direction.

The wind shoved me back. I tried to fight against it, but I failed and rolled into a patch of flowers. I grunted and spat out a petal that got in my mouth. "Okay! Fine! I get it! I'll go this way!" I stood up and walked in the opposite direction, and there was no wind.
