"Gah!" Dan flinched away from Kai when he touched his ankle. Dan was underestimating his feet being injured and refused to be examined, but Kai carried him inside one of the tents. A tent that belonged to a Sellors healer of some sort. Kai glared at Dan and tugged on his foot again, and Dan jerked away with a yelp.

"Don't as a child, Dan," Kai rolled his eyes. "I thought it did not hurt you so."

"How do you know the level of injury to his foot?" The healer mouthed to me. She was probably trying to understand how I was able to immediately give a diagnosis when it probably took her years of training.
