Episode 12- Rock Bottom

"You're coming with us Emily". "What- you can't do this, I'm the councilwoman for god's sake"! "Well not anymore Emily, I want a divorce", Liam shouted. My heart sank as I was cuffed and dragged out of the school. Liam was...leaving me? I wasn't going to be the councilwoman? I was going to lose my speed... what the hell! They took me to the station where they took my mugshot photo. I looked terrible and my mascara was running down my face. I was let out two days later since Silvia dropped the charges. I went to go and talk to Liam.

"So you want a divorce"? "Yes I do". "Why, what about everything we had together, have you ever loved me"? "I have, I always did and I still do"."Then why are you doing this, why cheat on me with a high school student"! "I'm in love with her"! "You're going to jail you sick bastard-". Liam stood up and walked up to me. "She's eighteen, what we do is perfectly legal". "She's a high school kid- your own student"! "I'm in love with Emily". "You're disgusting". Everything got quiet for a bit. "You're things are at the house".

"Be out by tonight, Silvia's moving in". I ran outside onto the street to get some fresh air. I felt my eyes and face get hot, I felt horrible. I had on a tank top with sweat pants and flip flops. I was walking down the street when I bumped into someone. It was a woman with long brown locs. Her nails were painted red, it went well with her short red dress. She had diamond earrings and was wearing gold bracelets. "I'm sorry", I told her. "It's fine".

I looked up at her and found her familiar. "Emily, the councilwoman"? "Nope, not anymore, Liam and I are getting divorced". "Oh, that sucks". Then I realized who she was. "Red Eye Mistress". She looked shocked that I remembered her. "Rem in short", she smiled. "You robbed me and stole 80k worth of jewelry and 30k in cash"! "Yep that's me", she laughed. "What are you doing in RingTown"? "I'm on another mission, aren't you going to arrest me"?

"No, I have nothing against you, plus... I don't have the energy".

"Well I'm sure it sucks to be you Emily". "It does... well I'm going back to collect my things so...". "Yeah, goodbye now". "Red Eye Mistress", someone shouted. It was Liam. "Emily stopped her", he shouted from the window. He started to come downstairs. "I don't wanna listen to him", I told her. "Grab my hand", she said. I hesitated but once I heard the front door opening, I grabbed it. She pulled me and started to run as fast as we could. "You guys aren't divorced yet, so you still have your speed, right"? "Yeah".

"Get ready"! She let me off her back and I started to run. "Try and keep up". "I'm afraid that you can't"!

Are we going into Trap City", I asked dodging a cop. "Yup". I had never been to Trap City, ever. I was running as fast as possible but she was steadily keeping up with me. "You have powers"? "Something like that". The police officers stopped chasing us as we made it into Trap City. "Woah", I said, looking around. "Welcome to Trap City... I'm Inko".
