Episode 22- Fighting Stance

I got on top of Liam and started to punch him over and over. "Inko", Emily shouted, pulling me off of him. I got up and turned around, looking her in the eye. She looked disappointed yet pleased. Once again I had let my anger control me. "Sorry". Liam stood up and dusted himself off. Everyone rushed him to make sure he was okay. "Why would you do such a thing, Duchess"? "Tell 'pretty boy' to watch his mouth next time". I walked out of the building and was talking to Emily. "Although it made me very happy to watch you beat up Liam, you have to control yourself next time", she told me. I nodded my head, "I know". "You know, you can get kicked out of your position that way".

"Hey Inko", Liam shouted. I turned around and saw him grab something from inside his coat. He quickly pulled it out, it was a gun. He shot it directly at my forehead and I fell back. "Inko", Emily screamed.

(Emily's P.O.V)

I was talking to Inko when Liam shouted her name. "Hey Inko"! He pulled a gun out of his coat and shot her in the forehead. "Inko", I screamed. My heart was racing and I was gonna cry. I stood there with my hands covering my mouth, Inko was just lying there. Liam stood there with a shocked look on his face. I turned around and ran towards him. "What did you do", I punched him. Red smoke came from my fist and wafted into his nose. His nose turned red and he started to bleed. "What the-". I punched him again and again. I heard a laugh come from behind us. I turned around and saw Inko sitting up watching us.

She had her tentacle in front of her face and it had a bullet hole in it. She had somehow managed to block the attack. I looked at her and then Liam. "How did you block that", Liam shouted. "The same way I block any attack silly, dodge". "How were you fast enough to stop it"? "You know, people always wonder how I'm so fast", she said, disappearing in a flash. We looked around trying to spot her. "Then it's like, Oh where did Inko go"? Her voice was coming from all directions. "Then it's like... I'm right behind you", she laughed. We turned around and she smacked Liam. "That's for shooting at me".

(Inko's P.O.V)

"Let's go Emily", I said, grabbing her hand. "You know Inko... you're a really good friend to have". "Why thank you". When we got home we had nothing to do for the past few days. I figured that the suit was gonna be a professional outfit so I decided to go with my bandit option. About 4 days passed when I heard a loud commotion going on outside. The sky suddenly went from light to dark.

(James' P.O.V)

The next 4 days went by fast. In the morning Shagami was supposed to start her plan Kuzma and I didn't speak at all. A bit later in the afternoon there was a lot of noise outside and the sky suddenly went dark. Me and Kuzma went outside and saw Shagami stepping out of large silver aircraft. "Hi brother, are you ready to take over these people. We can finally avenge our parents", she smiled. "No Shagami... we can't". "What"? "These are innocent people with their own lives. We can't just take them away and make the enslaved soldiers"? "And why can't I do that"? "You just can't". "It's about that bandit boy isn't it? The one next to you"?

"It's about more than just James"! "You got a friend and forgot everything we've worked for"! "Shagami-". "No... I guess you're just gonna have to join them". "Shagami". "Cybers... command", she shouted. Large rows and columns of robots started to step off of the aircraft. There were a total of about 300 of them. "Dammit", I whispered. Kuzma put his arms up and pointed them at some of her robots. His arms turned into laser cannons and he shot them at a row of them. "Really... my own brother! If you can't cut off that bandit... I'll do it for you". She sent an electric wave at me and I dodged it. Just then Inko came walking up along with Emily. "Oh the war is starting"?

"Pretty much". "Well Emily, you know what I taught you, get to work I guess". Inko grew the tentacles from her back and wrapped it around I robot she threw it across the city and all the way into the water. "Home run"! Emily let red smoke from her hands and the robots started to break from the inside. I used telekinesis to crush the robots into metal balls. "Robots, fetch me every bandit and goodie you see"! Some robots moved into RingTown and others started breaking into houses. The war was truly starting.
