Chapter 191 - Summon Contract Luna

Inside the Gourmet Research Facility in Biotope 1, Lev could be seen sitting on the bench quietly while looking at the battle of beasts inside the arena. Looking around the place, the arena in the center is covered with a dome made of a 2.5-meter-thick special super-reinforced acrylic plate.
Sitting on his chair, Lev arrived on time after seeing a giant four-armed species of gorilla beast, Troll Kong, and a behemoth-like reptile beast, Galala Gator being introduced to the arena. Knowing the result of the fight, Lev bet all in totaling 50,000,000,000 yen. Such an amount surprised everyone, especially the IGO who was supervising the gambling arena.
Lev also noticed Toriko and Komatsu's presence, but he was not nosy and close enough to greet them. He just focused on looking at the battle that was happening just like the other people who had come here, he also felt a bit ecstatic.
Not long after that, Troll Kong finally declared the winner which surprised everyone, especially the people who were sitting behind Lev since he had won quite a large amount of money as if he was sure that he would win.
Continuing the gambling arena, the time for the main event finally happened upon the announcer introduced three beasts with high capture levels, the rampaging behemoth of the northern continent, Elephantsaurus, the amphibious devil, Growlus, boss of Troll Kongs, Silverback, and the god of death descending from the sky, Gerolud.
"Here it comes." Lev muttered as he looked at a particular gate with excitement since this was the very reason that he came to this place. Also, aside from the Regal Mammoth he only has a small interest, the fruits and ingredients growing in this Biotope were also something that he wanted more.
"Thanks for waiting! From gate number 5 comes the strongest wolf that has ever lived, reborn from ancient times! Battle Wolf!!!!!" The announcer finally announced and introduced one of the stars of the main event. Following that, the people around the place immediately got hyped and started betting.
After that, everything happened naturally from the original story. One is the malfunctioning of the Battle Fragrance Machine, the strange behavior of the Battle Wolf, and finally, Toriko's entrance and intervention inside the arena. Despite the sudden change, people betting were completely excited from seeing one of the Heavenly Kings, Toriko, which whose betting ratio and popularity then changed and favored him.
As the commotion continued, Toriko then put a stunt by destroying the dome as he reported what was happening and ordered Mansam to shut down the coliseum for a bit. Due to that, all the gamblers inside then panicked and hurriedly left the place since the dangerous beasts inside the arena would be now on the loose.
Meanwhile, Lev quietly stayed silent as he observed the Battle Wolf and saw it with his very own eyes birthing into a cub. Following that, peace filled the place as all the people were dazed upon looking at the mother Battle Wolf giving parental love to her cub.
"Seriously! Crap.!" A young woman's voice echoed as she came in running from the last gate inside the arena before the gate itself was destroyed, which interrupted everyone from observing the Battle Wolf.
With that, Toriko and the others all looked at the beast that came from the gate which is also one of the stars of the main event, Demon Devil Python, with the ferociousness of the beast at its peak after inhaling a large amount of Battle Fragrance.
"Sir Lev. We already have secured an exit for you." Suddenly a man's voice in a suit appeared right beside Lev. It was a man working in IGO who guided Lev in the Gourmet Coliseum. As he was tasked to look after him, it was also his responsibility to take him out since Lev was a very important person.
"It's okay. You can just stand there and just watch. Also, how could I leave when I haven't still gotten my prize from my bet." Lev replied with a smile before his gaze shifted to another direction where he saw a GT Robot being blasted by Mansam who had already a hole in his stomach.
"Looks like it's now my time to move." Lev said before he raised his left hand and a large golden chopstick appeared in the air. Looking at the Demon Devil Python, Lev then moved the chopstick and held the beast with it. Following that, he then stood up from his seat before jumping down inside the arena.
The sudden appearance of the chopstick left everyone surprised as they looked at it holding the Demon Devil Python. Toriko and Mansam, both were shocked by its appearance however, what they were very shocked about was that it didn't come from the person they knew having such identical power.
"C-Chef Lev." Toriko, who was inside the arena, looked into Lev with surprise. If he did not see him, he would immediately think that his old man was there. He couldn't even believe his eyes knowing Lev, a chef, had such power given the appearance and build he had.
"Mansam. Tell Ichiryu that I will be taking this Battle Wolf mother. Despite it being a clone, I can probably help her live longer than a clone usually has." Lev said in a voice that everyone could hear before he plummeted the Demon Devil Python to the arena as he walked closer to the Battle Wolf. He also called out White Fang on his side since she might also like what was happening.
Seeing Lev and the White Fang moving closer, the Battle Wolf mother growled as she gave a warning not to get close. However, the anger and fierce expression on her face slowly faded as she looked at White Fang.
Toriko, Mansam, and all the people inside saw this happening which brought them into surprise seeing the Battle Wolf getting scared by the small, winged wolf beside Lev. He could not help but think what kind of wolf Lev's companion pet was that it would scare the hell out of a Battle Wolf, the strongest wolf in existence.
"A young Battle Wolf would only taste parental love during the day they were born. Furthermore, Battle Wolves are solitary creatures with not a gram of pack instincts. So, getting its mother away from its cub it's not a bad thing, right?" Lev followed before seeing White Fang sniffing the young Battle Wolf and even saw her licking its face just like its original mother did.
"So, you're Lev. Hahaha. I heard about you being the talk around the headquarters. Sooner or later, someone will offer you to join us. So, why not fo---" The operator of the GT robot started talking as he saw Lev. He even thinks that he was lucky to have met him today since getting him back to the headquarters would give him incredible merit and would probably rise in ranks, however, before he could finish his words, his body was sliced limb by limb and he couldn't even react.
"Shut your mouth, you ugly piece of shit." Lev said while holding the hilt of Zabimaru Infinity who stretched out and sliced off the GT Robot. Without even looking at it, he then put Zabimaru Infinity back inside his inventory and brought his attention back to the Battle Wolf mother.
"I'll name you Luna from now on. You must be sad thinking that you will be leaving your child behind. Come with me and I let you live a long life." Lev said since the mother Battle Wolf needs a name for him to know what to call her. Following that, he then took out something in his inventory that looked like a card.

'System, use the card on Luna.' Lev ordered inwardly before the card in his hand disappeared.

"It even has that function? System, choose A." Lev immediately answered upon hearing the system's notification. In fact, he has already decided to buy something in the store to help Luna but upon seeing choice A, he excitedly drops the idea since it would no longer matter if she loses everything now for so long as she could live as she could just get them back later through leveling up.

After the success of the contract, Luna started shining brightly making everyone curious about what was happening. Everyone persisted in the bright light until they saw it diminishing, leaving behind two identical in appearance and size Battle Wolves and a winged wolf to where the original mother Battle Wolf was lying.
"Luna, come here." Lev then called while looking through her status who had gone back to zero. Even the entirety of her being has changed seeing her having the status just like her newborn child.
Hearing Lev's order, Luna immediately walked towards Lev and pounced her head to his body wanting to be pet by him. Lev, on the other hand, remembered the time he summoned White Fang back in Douluo Dalu which made him smile and caress her furs.
"Good. Luna, you can say goodbye to your child now." Lev then said. Since the contract was now complete, it was also time for him to leave, however, he was not heartless enough to not allow Luna to give her child her last message and care as a parent.
Following that, everything went smoothly. Luna, whose fate had changed, was given time to show her parental love to her child. After that, the Demon Devil Phyton and the other beasts around are subdued once again for the safety of the people, and lastly, the obliteration of the GT Robot.
Not long after, Lev finally called Luna and White Fang as it was now time for them to leave. He already recalled them back to Infinity World before summoning Dart and rode on her. Seeing the surprised and shocked expressions of the people around, Lev just smirked and said something before he left.
"Let's meet again. Goodbye. Also, you can bring this young Battle Wolf to my restaurant if you need help with something." Lev then bid his farewell before telling Dart to leave the place as they flew through the exit. He knew the next event after this arc and so wanted to hint to them that his restaurant would be of help.
With all that happening, Toriko and Mansam were the most dumbfounded by what just happened. The events that happened in the place were too fast for them to react, leaving them still in a daze as they looked at the exit Lev and his dragon left and only woke up after hearing the howl of a wolf.
"Howl!!!!!!!!!!!!" The young child of Luna sat on the ground as he howled. As he may have left behind, the howl coming from him was filled with confidence. No one knew what it meant but it must have something to do with her mother leaving.

After leaving the place, Lev did not stay on the island as he ordered Dart to fly at her full speed. The direction they were heading this time wasn't the direction back to their house in the Vegetable Sky but rather to a place that they just visited a while back before he had a fight with Jiro.
"All is well that ends well." Lev muttered while smiling. Though there is still a matter of Jewel Meat, Toriko's Meat Dish, the acquisition of the Mother Battle Wolf was already enough for him. Furthermore, he also feels like he needs to rest for a while until the opening of his new business since they are now in the critical time of the plan.
Following that, Lev successfully left Biotope 1 without worries as all other things to be clear and confirmed in the facility were of no concern to him and just let the IGO deal with that matter. Though he felt like it was a shame not to include Luna's child as part of his summon, he felt like not doing so despite still having spare cards. He thought that Luna's child, soon-to-be called 'Terry' was better off in Toriko's care than him.
