Chapter 195 - Melk the First

______________________

---The next day---

Melk Mountain,

As the sun rose from the east, Lev woke up with bliss while being embraced by the two beautiful women. It was one of the best sleep he had for the last three months back in Vegetable Sky. Seeing the unfamiliar ceiling, Lev stared at it for a while before he slowly got up and fixed himself before heading down.

Walking down the stairs, Lev could hear the sound of someone sharpening on the first floor which he then speculated that it was Melk the Second since she was not present above and was probably doing her work this early in the morning.

"Did you even have enough sleep to start working this early in the morning?" Lev said as he looked at Melk the Second sharpening a knife with great focus and determination. Following that, he just takes a look at the workshop since it has been three months he didn't see the place which greatly surprised him seeing that there were now several kinds of swords and armor around the place.

"I-I'm good." Melk the Second immediately stopped what she was doing after hearing Lev's voice. He then just replied as normally as she could because truth be told, she actually didn't have any sleep after being tormented by watching the three of them all night.

"Hmmm. Erza and Mirajane would probably sleep until noon. Do you want to walk around to have a change of air?" Lev then suggested. Though he felt good seeing how dedicated Melk the Second on crafting Erza's equipment, he still felt like she was working too hard for it and so wanted her to stop for a while to take a breather.

Melk the Second, upon hearing Lev, completely felt distracted and finally put a stop to what she was doing. She then just looked at Lev with her cheeks slightly red as she still could not forget what she saw last night.

Following that, Lev and Melk the second together with the three Night Lights then left the house and headed down to have a walk outside leaving the still-sleeping Erza and Mirajane above the workshop.

As time goes by, Lev and Melk the Second slowly and quietly walk down the giant stairs while looking at the giant peaks around the place. While walking, not even once they were attacked by beasts as there were three Dragons flying above them warning the surrounding beasts not to get close.

"Do you know why your Master left the place?" Lev suddenly asked while taking out a Supear fruit from his inventory and giving it to Melk the Second. Aside from walking around the place, he actually also looking for someone since he knew that two people would sooner or later come to this place.

Melk the Second took the Supear fruit as she looked at Lev with surprise thinking how he could have known her Master so much as if they were close to each other, but she immediately erased the idea since looking at Lev's appearance, he really looked very young compared to her Master.

"In fact, he had told you that he needed to leave. You just didn't hear it since your Master quite has a small voice." Lev followed since Melk the First really had a comically quiet voice compared to his big stature. Thinking about it, he then just bit into the Supear and started drinking its juices.

Meanwhile, Melk the Second continues to remain silent as she drinks the fruit while contemplating Lev's words. She then just remains quiet as she continues to listen to what Lev would say since it was the first time she had heard about him talking this long, especially today when it comes to her Master.

"He's creating a knife for the incoming war." Lev then brings down a bomb, however, it is not just an ordinary bomb since it is a bomb filled with nothing but the truth after knowing the whole story of this world.

"W-War?" Melk the Second paused a bit as she looked at Lev questionably since what he just said really was absurd to believe. Though it is true that there were countries in the world that were still at war, she thought of what kind of war needed her Master to create a knife.

"Yeah. In three or more years, this world would soon turn to chaos again. Hahaha." Lev laughed while thinking about it. He already experienced three kinds of wars from the world that he conquered in the past, but it was his first time experiencing a war with food as its source which he found funny.

"Hmmm. Since we all have time during the day, why don't we see your Master so that you can hear it from him and also for me to ask him for you to work for me? Thinking about it, it's like killing two birds in one stone. Good. Let's go." Lev suddenly thought of a good idea as he looked at Melk the Second. Following that, he just used Bansho Ten'in on her before embracing her tight as he jumped on Dart's back and flew into the sky.

Melk the Second, could not even react to how fast things escalated as she hugged Lev tightly scared from falling from such a height. However, even knowing what was happening, she felt quite excited and happy at the moment for some reason.

With that, Lev and Melk the Second then headed to the place where Melk the First had gone to talk and clarify things. They were heading to a massive underground cave near Melk Mountain called the 'Heavy Hole' known to be the deepest underground cave in the Human World.

---Thirty minutes later---

Heavy Hole,

About thirty kilometers north of Melk Mountain, Lev and Melk the Second could now be found standing on the edge of the land looking at the bottomless pit. Lev didn't know specifically where Melk the First was right now unless they would go down and find him by themselves.

"Let's jump down, shall we?" Lev said as he took the hand of Melk the Second without even hearing their consent before they jumped together fully knowing what kind of environment the bottom had.

"W-Waaiitt!!!" Melk the second screamed as she still was not ready, but she could no longer stop seeing her falling in the embrace of Lev.

Lev didn't go through by jumping to the available land to stop by since he could just fly down below. He was just irritated by the beasts lurking and attacking them around and he had no choice but to knock them as the deeper they go, the stronger and ferocious they have become.

Not long after that, Lev and Melk the second finally reached the bottom. Melk the Second thought that it would be a place where light seemed to disappear, but she felt wrong seeing how bright the place was. However, when she was about to jump down from Lev's embrace, Lev stopped him and prompted her to look below which greatly surprised her.

"This place's gravity is not normal. Let's stay here for a while so you can adjust to the place." Lev said and warned that after he landed down, he kind of created a crate while enduring gravity that was first to him as his legs were shaking a bit.

Melk the Second looked at the ground they were standing and thought of Lev's words however, she still jumped which she immediately felt unstable and would probably bring down to her knees if not for Lev's support.

"I'll protect you at all costs so you can take your time and adjust." Lev said before he took out Zabimaru Infinities upon sensing several beasts coming in their direction. Despite the gravity of the place, Lev had already quite adjusted and could now move though he still needed time to fully control the change of gravity.

Meanwhile, Melk the Second looked at Lev with amazement as it was her first time seeing him fight and she could not take away her eyes from the way he used his sword as if he was dancing while holding it. She did not even notice that she was now already standing normally even with gravity as she looked at Lev with admiration.

"Hooff." Lev breathed in relief before unsheathing his weapon back to his inventory as he turned around and looked at Melk the Second who was looking back at him. The kind of eyes she was showing right now was quite familiar to him which was making him smile before his ears suddenly picked up something.

"Looks like you've completely adjusted. Let's go." Lev said with a smile because the sound he just picked up this time was quite familiar, and he was sure that only one person could do it since it was the sound of hammering.

With that, Melk the Second woke up from her daze and she followed Lev behind with a faint smile on her face as they ventured into the maze-like cave filled with mystery and danger.

Following the sound of hammering, Lev and Melk the Second finally arrived in a particular place where they could immediately tell that they were in the right place seeing some gigantic swords standing on the wall while several materials lying in the place but what was more convincing is the man holding a hammer as he focuses on working the metal on the table.

"M-Master." Melk the Second called out with excitement and longing after finally seeing her Master for a long time. Seeing him still alive and working something makes her smile for some reason. She even set aside the swords leaning on the wall as she focused all her attention on her Master.

Meanwhile, Melk the First suddenly stopped what he was doing after hearing the call which he then turned around which made his eyes widen in shock upon seeing someone he never expected to see, especially in this place.

Without further ado, Melk the Second immediately ran and jumped on Melk the First as she greatly missed him so much to the point that she even thought that he had abandoned her and the worst is that she thought he was dead.

Melk the First immediately hugged Melk the Second as he also felt the same however, after embracing her daughter, that was when he caught the attention of Lev's presence looking at him with a smile which made him think about what he was doing in the place since despite not going outside, he was familiar with him due to someone visiting the area and giving out his information.

"Master, I thought you had left me." Melk the Second wiped off the tears in her eyes as she looked at her Master with a smile on her face.

Melk the First, on the other hand, also looked at Melk the Second with a smile before saying something that only he and probably Lev could hear leaving Melk the Second to wonder what he was talking about.

"He is saying that there is a stone around this area that could amplify his voice. He was asking if you find it out and bring it here." Lev replied on his behalf but what he said was actually a lie since Melk the First answered Melk the Second with a warm welcome and worry.

"Really?! Don't worry, Master. I will look for it for you really quick." Melk the Second, upon hearing Lev, immediately left the place as she ran outside looking for the stone that could allow his Master to talk louder.

After Melk the Second left the place, Melk the First then stared at Lev seriously. Aside from knowing his appearance and name, information about his known peculiar power and abilities was also something that he knew of. He was told that Lev would probably come to this place but that was not concerning him, he was wondering why his daughter was coming here with him.

"I like your daughter. I'm asking for your blessing." Lev suddenly said without any sugarcoating and directly said what he was after. The reason behind him wanting to come to Melk Mountain was not just to help Erza with her equipment, but because of Melk the Second herself, as he had long decided that she would be the only woman in this world he would take as his wife.

Hearing Lev, Melk the First immediately stiffened and could hardly react to the sudden confession. What's more frustrating is that he could not tell whether Lev was joking or not about it since aside from his smiling face that he could not decipher, Lev's real age was something he needed to consider.
