Fog Restrictions

When Zion entered the fog, his body was slightly paralyzed. He was alarmed by the fog's negative effect and underestimated the fog's strength.

He already suspected that there was more to the fog, but he didn't dare to test the water with his own body because it could kill him if he let down his guard to learn about the fog's other effects.

He slowly walked, releasing all of his senses' strength to cover a two-meter radius to ensure  his safety inside the fog because he felt like the fog was looking for his senses' weaknesses to completely invade his body and finally suppress him in the fog

The more he moves forward, the stronger the restriction on his body becomes.

Even the aura on his body is slightly shifting to counteract the fog's forcefulness.

"What kind of fog is this?" Zion's brows met as he felt uneasy due to the fog's restriction; even though he had a lot of mana, he still couldn't afford the tremendous draining.

With his senses suppressed, he wasn't even sure if there was a safe area inside the fog to replenish his mana because just keeping his aura and Celtic shield up was too much for him.

Zion looked around, slightly hesitant to move forward, but he sensed Gaia's barrier was already weakening and could disappear at any moment.

If he returns, he may not have enough time to replenish his mana and replan his action; don't even mention considering another route because he couldn't rely on anyone but himself to scout the area.

Rather than turning back, he made a serious face as he walked forward, deciding that moving forward was his best chance of surviving and learning about the mysterious island.

Even though he felt uneasy walking through the fog,  he also felt that something was calling him inside with both good and bad intentions; he already knew that this was an opportunity. That he reads in the novels, and the uneasy feeling was most likely a guardian guarding the opportunity.

Zion wasn't sure what the guardian's danger level was, but based on the oppressiveness and danger of the fog, he could make two reasonable assumptions

The first was that the guardian monster within the fog had adapted to the environment, and the negative effect may no longer affect them, making them the most dangerous monster. Although he doesn't know the quantity, he suspects that the monster is of exceptional quality within the fog.

The second guess was that it was only one or two, but its strength surpassed him and possibly the one producing the fog; if the monster was the true culprit of creating the fog, Zion was certain

that he couldn't beat it because of the restriction within the fog, fighting in the monsters environment was far too dangerous, the monster could also be the best assassin within,

If the monster was intelligent enough to use the ability to its fullest potential, he could control and restrict his enemy's movement.

But he wouldn't back down; he had already faced death against the variant warlock orc. If anything goes wrong, he will naturally seek the throne's power once more, risking his life to fight whoever controls the fog.

He needs to take a risk now because planning will not produce any results in this fog, and he knew he was already at a disadvantage when he was teleported into this no man's land, not knowing the terrains and dangers.

He could only grit his teeth and accept it because he was the one who used the throne to save the soldiers from the variant orc warlock; he could only blame it on bad luck.

"Gaia, lend me the throne strength using the

authority to maintain my aura and Celtic shield," Zion said determinedly, his eyes like a hawk determined to catch his prey, only there was no prey, only a fog that he couldn't touch.

Zion slowdown feeling the oppression becomes even more powerful, the aura and Celtic shield begin to fluctuate,

"You've got to be kidding me!!" Zion pushed himself to the limit to strengthen the aura and Celtic shield, draining his mana in exchange. "I won't fall in this no man's land this time," he said awkwardly, dashing in an instant without a care for the fog's restriction and oppression.

The change in movement speed suppressed him even more as he felt his body sluggish and numb at the same time as the feeling became intense and dizzying, and for a split second, he saw golden chains with words in the fog.

He didn't know if what he saw was an illusion because  even though his evil eye butterfly had changed his experience and knowledge of illusion

PAK... Zion kneeled as his passive, calm mind began to actively calm him again, but his body transformation from body cleansing and level up couldn't withstand the fog's power.

He felt like an ant in the fog because he was draining mana so quickly that his aura and Celtic shield were wearing thin. Even though he  borrowed the strength of the throne, it was only a tiny percentage of it because it couldn't keep up in generating more mana.

"Fuck, I'm not going down because of this shitty fog's oppression, not this time,

I'd rather die fighting than die because of a fog,"

Bang! When Zion looked up, he saw the golden chain again in the fog, and with forceful physical strength, he stood up and jumped with all his might, not caring if it was an illusion anymore.

The chain, in his mind, was the hint or key to surviving in the fog.

Even if it wasn't the key, he was at his limit; his mana was draining, he couldn't return to the castle space due to restrictions, and even Gaia was restricted if it hadn't been for the throne's support, he would have assumed Gaia had abandoned him.

Kacha!!!... TING!!!

Bang!!! Zion kneeled, with a smile, on his face as he felt the cold golden chain in his hands, which he had previously thought was an illusion.

"They are chains!!" Zion smiled as he prepared to uncover some clues.

But before he could do so, he felt a tremendous force lift him from the spot and drag him so fast that he unconsciously let go of the chain, and the  scenery changed from forest to an open grassland where the fog didn't reach,

Or to say the fogs ends

It acts as a barrier to prevent any invader from entering.

Zion could see plants and fruit trees emitting sweet scents, and as he was dragged, he could see rundown houses.

Zion couldn't help but widen his eyes from bewilderment even though he was being dragged by an unknown force. he was still able to glimpse the scenery

"Houses!!!" He muttered as he looked at the rundown houses in stupor and amazement until  he saw a magnificent white castle on top of the mountain,

Even though he was still far from the castle, this did not stop his eyes from zooming through the few hundred meters.

Without the fog disrupting his senses, he was able to use his eyes to zoom through the mountain.

"Hiss!!! Did I bite more than I can chew this time?"
