"wow it's that book I wanted the other day but mom didn't get for me, thank her for me"

"you can do that yourself, what's that in your hands" Nick asked

"oh a boy gave it to me and run off" Joan said

Nick took it, opened it and smiled and then asked Joan

"Joan you think I'm a good brother right and everything I do is right"

"yes"

"then this is what we're going to do"

'since they want me to be a good brother of course I have to be one' Nick thought to himself

"you remember the boy that gave this letter to you right" Nick asked

"yh I do" Joan said

"perfect!!, you see this letter, come with me let's sit under the tree" Nick said

they went and sit down

"dear little sister, read this letter out loud and very carefully" Nick said

and Joan read the love confession of the boy

"you must remember this very well, whenever you are given such letters like this, you must go through it carefully and see if there are mistakes in it and correct it ok after doing that you grade it ok, you know since you are such an intelligent girl in your side of the school, they want you to see whether they're improving in their vocabularies. ok" Nick said

"ok so this is what it means" Joan said smiling

"good girl, remember smile when giving the letter back to that boy ok" Nick said

"ok"

"then see you after we close and don't forget to tell me everything when we close ok" Nick said

"ok"

"good girl that's why I love you" Nick said and left smiling, leaving Joan all smiley

Joan did exactly that and from that and a few occasions moments on, no one since then wrote her a love letter

during Nick's last year in high school, Nick decided to make it interesting for him and difficult for Joan

one-time a boy approached Joan and told her he likes her before Joan could answer Nick appeared and took her away

" what did that boy want" Nick asked

"he said he likes me" Joan said

"what?" Nick shouted

" he said he likes me" Joan said again

"I heard you the first time, so what did you say?" Nick asked

"before I could say something, you dragged me away" Joan said

"Joan, you do think I'm a good brother right and everything I do is right and I always want the best for you" Nick said

"yes I know"

"since it's my last year in high school, I want to look out for you before I leave, whenever someone says he likes you, especially boys run away and don't look back ok and always hide from such person ok" Nick said

"ok"

"good girl that's why I love you" Nick said smiling

and just like that, he left high school and left Joan, for the one year left off her high school she spent it running away from boys who confessed to her
