chapter forty three

he held her hand place on his forehead and slowly placed it under his cheek, he sigh

"oh Joan, you're really here" he said as he snuggled against her hand still with his eyes closed as bundles of emotions surfaced, he smiled while snuggling against her palm

Joan looked at his action and smiled, she looked at his Happy face as he snuggle against her and she herself was happy and fulfilled but Leticia was a little confused about the whole scene between these two

"what's going on between the two" she wondered..

"his fever is high, move aside so I can place cold towel on his head" Leticia said

and Joan noticed that was actually what she wanted to do before she came, judging from the things on the table.

although she didn't want Leticia to be the one doing that, she had no right to argue,

she came too late.

the moment she tried to get up, she tried to remove her hand from his but he held it stronger and said

"no you can't leave me again.... no... please stay" he said as he slowly brought her hand close to his lips, Joan's heart thumped.

he slowly kissed her finger tips and continued to snuggle against her palm

Joan was shocked but Leticia seemed more shocked

" Nick I'm not going anywhere, just free my hand" Joan said but he just shook his head,

again he gently kissed the back of her hand and Joan felt weak,

just then he again brought her hand close to his lips as he kissed the inside of her palm and she lost it

every kiss right now stirred something in her, as she was in wonderland

" Joan I feel a little sleepy, please don't leave me ok. I will just sleep for a while" Nick said and slept off since he had no control over it
