"what's all this maxim? you seem to be aware of this" Joan asked

"sorry Joan if today has been stressful, sorry if I wasted your time but you needed to be out of here. Callum planned a surprise and I was to make sure you're not around until he finishes" maxim said

"how did you get my keys" Joan asked

"I rushed you out so you forgot, although that was the idea, but nothing happened I texted Callum as soon as we Left so he came around and closed it till he finished with this decoration" maxim said with a smile

"what was the need for all this" Joan was annoyed, she missed Nick's birthday because of something as silly as this

"go on Callum, ask her" maxim said

"ask me what" Joan said

Callum kneeled down and held Joan's hand, Joan became shocked as well as Kimmy

"will you be my girlfriend" Callum asked

before she could answer she saw someone

Nick got in the moment Callum asked her to be his girlfriend, they stared at each other and Maxim looked at where her eyes were and she also saw Nick, out of the blue she called Joan softly since she was closer to her and she answered yes.

"she said yes!!, wow congratulations" maxim said quickly

Nick just looked at her and shook his head, he saw Joan too shaking her head but he left

just when Joan was about to follow him

"thank you Joan, I promise not to hurt you" Callum said and Joan just stared at him and then she stared at the door, she rushed out to look for Nick but when she saw him she didn't like what she saw

when Joan's yes was taken as an acceptance, Nick couldn't bear it

"so this was it, he had lost her and that too on his birthday. they were right he ruins everything, on this day he lost his parents and it took away his sanity and today too on this Same day, he lost his life"

as he walked out of there a whole lot was on his mind and he was finding it hard to breathe

when he was about to faint someone held him.

it was Leticia, she followed Nick, although she was happy about what happened, she didn't like the way Nick was acting, she saw him and she approached him

"Leticia help me... I can't breathe... help me" Nick said and Leticia hugged him

"it's ok, breathe" Leticia said as she patted his back

Nick couldn't control himself so he cried, he hugged Leticia and cried on her shoulders

Joan saw them and went back inside
