chapter fifty seven

the next day Joan met Callum and explained everything to him, how the yes wasn't for him and how she doesn't feel anything for him, and they decided to be friends.

it had been two days and Joan didn't see nick,

she heard he went home and that too from his friends.

when she saw Nick, she approached him trying to explain things

"Nick, listen to me, there's nothing going on between me and Callum"

"why are you telling me this, Joan I don't care about who you choose, you can be with anyone of your choice it doesn't matter to me, it just doesn't matter so let me be" he said and left

call him childish or stupid but he had enough of those tears and heartbreak, even if it means him dying inside. besides he never told Joan his feelings so he had no right to be angry, sad or jealous about it but he just couldn't.

"recently Joan and Nick seems to be going farther away from each other and it's because of something silly" Kimmy said to Fred

"I know and although they both pretends to be fine they're actually not" Fred said

"it's been a long time since they even stayed in one room together" Kimmy said

"and he Nick has this stupid reason that he wants Joan to enjoy her relationship with Callum and he doesn't want to bother them" Fred said

"but I thought Joan told him she wasn't with Callum" Kimmy asked

"maybe he failed to listen and focused on his hurt".

"how about this let's get them to talk about their feelings so it settles this once and for all"

"what do you suggest Kimmy"

Kimmy and Fred invited friends from their cycle for a fun out

the fun out was with Fred, Willie, Kimmy, Joan, Nick, maxim and obviously maxim invited Callum and Nick invited Leticia, they had become really close since she helped him during his bad days, she was always checking up on him and he guessed she wasn't that bad.
