Flash back.....

the day Joan took care of nick, he whispered something to Joan

"I love you" and Joan's eyes widened

"yes I do. listen Joan I am sorry if this will ruin everything between us but I love you and no matter what happens I will still love you.

I love you Joan, I am sorry but I couldn't help it, I love you so much, infact too much that I could die. I have loved you for a very long time, I was scared to admit but Joan I can't anymore

I don't even know how it started but I am madly in love with you." he confessed

Joan touched his forehead and his temperature was really high

"your temperature is really high" Joan said

Joan did that because she found it weird, she thought it was because of his fever he was saying this and maybe it was meant for another person, she didn't want to keep her hopes up

"no Joan listen I love you. I love you it's not because of this fever, actually it gave me courage, I know I can't say it when I am sober."

Joan was shocked but what happened next made her weak.

in the middle of the night, when his temperature rose up again he kept on repeating

" don't leave me Joan, please don't be angry at me, oh Joan I don't know what I will do if you leave my life, if you leave me..... please don't go to Callum, please it will hurt me, please I will do anything for you, please don't leave me"

these were some of the scenes that happened that night

Joan left the shower and cried herself to bed,

Nick that night had a hard night, he concluded that he didn't deserve any happiness, he was angry at himself for thinking he deserve someone like Joan, he changed that night there was no emotions again.

the next day the news of Joan dating Callum spread on campus
