a week went by and Nick hadn't seen or heard from Joan, he became worried and he couldn't even ask anyone, she was not coming to the office either.

another week gone back and he saw her at work, she looked different, she looked tired and she was looking very different.

when they were alone

"where have you been?" Nick asked annoyed

"how does it matter to you,"

"you're my w....!!!!!!! you're my employee, you left your work and you don't get to do that" Nick said

"sorry,.... sorry boss" Joan said and left

Nick was really angry and it became worst when he constantly saw Callum waiting to pick her up everyday after work.

"why are you so angry" Alice said

"because she's my wife!!!!!!" Nick shouted

"what? I thought you hated this whole idea of marriage" Alice said

"she can't throw me away Everytime she thinks she doesn't want me, I won't allow her to do that to me. she decided to marry me I didn't force her even if it's for the two months she has to do her duties as my wife" Nick said and left leaving Alice angry

"I thought he loved me or he said all those things to hurt Joan back?....no Nick I won't allow you to go back to her" Alice said

the following week Callum came again but Nick was faster than Joan he approached Callum

"what do you think you are doing?

"what do you mean" Callum asked

"picking someone else wife, if you like that role too much then get your own wife"

"your wife? I thought you didn't want her"

"I never said that, she's mine so stay away, this should be the last time I see you here or you wouldn't like it" Nick said and left

fortunately Joan heard it and she smiled

"you look happy today, after the whole incident I see you happy . tell me what happened'

"Nick called me his wife in front of Callum"

"I am sorry Joan but isn't it because he's jealous or the idea of you with Callum spites him" Kimmy said

"that's it. I think he feels something for me and I have decided I will get back his love Nick is mine and I won't let anyone take him away from me, the thought of him being with someone, loving someone else was killing me , I can't give him up" Joan said to Kimmy

"Joan be careful I saw you broken when he left and when he said those words that night. don't get your hopes up" Kimmy said

"don't worry Kimmy I trust in my love and in our love and those hurting words were a little reminder of what he felt with my words" Joan said and left to pack. she had something planned.
