CHAPTER 6

Jack who had lunch with Nao in his office, began to see how the products he ordered to classify and distribute in Akio's company were going, everything was going well, the director Sato was doing his job well and was giving a lot of overtime to the workers, Jack seeing this, thought that at the end of everything he would give incentives for these employees who were trapped in his plans.

The hours passed and it was 4 p.m. Jack informed Nao that he was not going home to which she nodded and kissed him goodbye. Jack left the company after changing into casual clothes and putting on a cap and chinstrap, he got into his car now without a driver and went to the restaurant according to the GPS it was a 10 min drive, but with the traffic, it was a 30 min drive.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Jack walked in and went straight to the receptionist. The receptionist saw Jack wearing a cap and chinstrap, but by his appearance, he looked like someone with money, since many rich people come casually so as not to alert the paparazzi. Then the experienced receptionist went to Jack's side and spoke.

"Sir do you have a reservation or would you like to make one," the receptionist asked with a professional smile.

"Well, maybe it's in the name of Ai Fujiwara," said Jack with a touch of doubt.

"Ai Fujiwara, ah yes here it is, it's the last table next to the window," said the receptionist looking at her notebook where she had written down the reservations.

Jack's eyes twitched when he saw where the table was, since he could not take off his cap or his chinstrap, he was sure to be recognized, then he looked at the receptionist and spoke.

"Miss won't there be a private room available?"(Jack).

"mm~ yes there is one available, the last one in fact," said the receptionist.

Jack listening to the girl sighed and thanked his luck.

"Ok, then I want the private room, and please when the reservation person comes send her to the room where I will be" (Jack).

"Okay sir, then that's it, let me take you to the lounge," said the receptionist as she led the way for Jack.

Jack followed the receptionist and she left him in a very spacious room, when she said goodbye Jack took off his cap and chinstrap and took a breath of air. Twenty minutes passed and suddenly the door opened and Ai walked in.

Seeing Ai, Jack smiled and spoke.

"Good afternoon, Ai please have a seat," said Jack with a smile.

Ai seeing Jack also smiled and sat across from him and spoke.

"Good afternoon, Jack, but why did you move to this room, I had already reserved a place," said Ai with a doubtful face.

"Well, what's wrong Ai is that the place you reserved we weren't going to be very quiet," said Jack still smiling.

"Uh why?" said Ai with a questioning face.

Jack wondered if this woman forgot who he was.

"Well, if we stayed in the place, I wouldn't be able to take off my cap or my chinstrap, people would recognize me very easily, I was next to the window" (Jack).

"Ahhh, right how could I forget that a thousand apologies Jack," said Ai with a pitiful face for being so careless.

"Hahaha nothing wrong with that, I can tell you don't see me as Jack Hayes the billionaire, but as a normal person and that makes me very happy," said Jack with a dazzling smile.

Ai seeing Jack's smile blushed a little and her heart started beating a little faster than normal.

"mm~" pronounced Ai with a flushed face and a smile.

After the small conversation, they ordered something to eat, while waiting for the food they chatted, and laughed, they looked like old friends who knew each other for a long time, until the food came.

They finished eating and were chatting.

"Tell me Ai, what was your dream when you were little?"(Jack).

"mm~ when I was little, well I'm a little embarrassed to say it hehe," said Ai with a silly smile.

"Come on no one is going to laugh, listen I'll tell you mine when I was a little boy, I wanted to be a professional football player, when I watched the games on TV I imagined being there and people chanting my name, it was a silly dream, but it sure made me happy, so don't say that your dreams make you ashamed because the last thing you have to lose is hope," Jack said with a touch of melancholy remembering those moments.

"Jack~," said Ai with a hint of sweetness in her voice.

"Hehe, but I wasn't very good hahaha, so I didn't make it in any team," said Jack laughing.

"They missed it, Jack," said Ai raising his fist.

"hahaha, so tell me Ai what was your dream," said Jack as he settled into the seat.

"Well, when I was little, I always wanted to be an actress, I loved watching women act in different roles, but the one I liked the most was heroin," said Ai blushing at the last moment.

"Okay, well you don't have to be embarrassed it's a big dream, and did you ever try to audition?" asked Jack.

"No never, as I grew older, I left aside and dedicated myself to studies, until I entered the university and graduated as an architect, now they hire me to make plans at home," said Ai with a little sadness in her voice.

After that conversation, they continued talking until Jack asked for the bill that Ai wanted to pay, but Jack said no, but Ai insisted since she invited him until Jack said that they should pay in half which she didn't accept either, he persuaded her and then they paid in half.

Then they left the restaurant and Jack told her that he was going to take her and she accepted. In the car, Jack passed by and saw a movie theater and looked at the time and it was 7 pm, so he looked at Ai and asked her if she wanted to go to the movies, which she enthusiastically accepted. Jack smiled at this, parked the car and they went to the movies.
