CHAPTER 9

They arrived at the stadium and went to the VIP box that was reserved for the family. When they arrived at the box, Mio and Miyuki were already there, to which Jack greeted them with a kiss and introduced Ai.

"Mio, Miyuki this is Ai Fujiwara," Jack said as he waved his hand to show Ai.

"Nice to meet you my name as Jack already told you is Ai Fujiwara, you can just call me Ai" Ai said with a smile, but she was a little nervous.

"Nice to meet you Ai, Jack always talks about you and my name is Miyuki Shiba, you can call me Miyuki," Miyuki said with a smile, but inside she was analyzing from head to toe the woman her husband was interested in.

Mio was something else, she was shy, but on this occasion, she was energetic as this was her possible new sister and she had to be as approachable as possible.

"Hello, hello my name is Mio Akiyama nice to meet you, Ai-chan," Mio said with the charisma she only brings out when she is on stage greeting her fans.

Mio waited for a while to be greeted back, but there was no response from Ai, she was frozen looking at Mio until out of nowhere there were stars in her eyes and she let out a fan scream.

"Kyaaaaaaaa, you are cuter in person, Kyaaaaaaaa let me hug you" Ai said and hugged Mio forcibly.

Mio who is rarely hugged by anyone except her parents, husband, and her sisters, looked around for help but saw that everyone was laughing at the situation until Jack couldn't stand his wife's pitiful face anymore and separated them.

"There, there, Mio, Ai is a big fan, and Ai, Mio is a little shy so calm down," said Jack with a smile directed towards the two.

Ai woke up from her fanaticism and realized what she did, her face reddened from embarrassment and she spoke.

"I'm so sorry, I got excited when I saw you, I'm sorry," Ai said bowing her head.

Mio who didn't know what to do looked at her husband for help, to which Jack motioned for her to speak.

"Don't worry Ai-chan, I was just surprised that you hugged me all of a sudden hehe" Mio said with a smile that made Ai calm down a little, but she was still grief-stricken.

Jack seeing that Ai was still embarrassed smiled and put his hand on her head and caressed her and spoke.

"It's all right now, you don't have to be embarrassed like that," said Jack who was still caressing Ai.

Ai felt Jack's caresses relax her, and Jack who saw this withdrew his hand.

"Excuse me Mio-san, but you're just too cute and I couldn't hold back, I always follow your songs when they come out, I'm a big fan," said Ai with a small smile.

"Hehe, it's okay Ai-chan you are cute too," said Mio with a red face because she was called cute again.

Miyuki who was watching the whole scene spoke.

"Let's go and get settled in our seats because it's going to start soon and we also have to order what we want to eat," said Miyuki in her facet as a field trip teacher.

And so they all sat down they ordered their meals, Jack ordered a hamburger with cheddar cheese fries, Miyuki ordered a chicken salad, Mio ordered the same as Jack only with au gratin fries and Ai ordered a pizza which she wanted to pay for, but she was already told that everything was paid for, then she looked towards Jack to which he smiled and said.

"You don't have to worry; the club pays for us" (Jack).

Time went by until the two teams entered the court, when they saw Mai, the whole family shouted, come on Mai, you can do it. Mai looked towards the box where she saw the whole family, smiled, and told herself that she had to win today.

Then the game started, in the first inning Mai struck out 3 players in a row, and when it was time to bat the team almost scored because they had a player on third base, but the last player to bat was struck out. In the second inning, Mai did the same as in the first, she struck out 3 players, but when it was time to bat Mai's team was able to score 1 point this time. The score was 1-0 for Tokyo Pandas.

In the third inning, everything stayed the same, but in the fourth inning, Ai let one through to the third base, and the next batter laid down a bunt that was enough for the player in the third baseman to run in and score. Jack and the girls saw this and cheered Mai on even more. In the following innings everything continued the same until the 9th inning, Ai had already struck out 3 and let 1 through but it was only to first base, it was time to bat and the opposing pitcher had already struck out 2 and Mai had a teammate on second base.

Mai took a deep breath and pointed the bat in the direction of the box where Jack was right, he saw that and made a gesture with a clenched fist, Mai saw that and smiled and became serious looking directly at the opposing pitcher, the pitcher threw a fastball that Mai managed to connect, the ball went out in a shot that managed to pass in the middle center and left field and with this, the player who was at second base ran to home plate and managed to score and thus won the Tokyo Pandas and Mai took the MVP of the game.

[a/n: sorry if someone who is a big baseball fan sees mistakes, it's just that I haven't watched for a long time and I forgot some things, besides baseball in my country hardly exists, long live football xD].

At the end of the game everyone in the box cheered, they were very happy, Mai was spectacular today, leading the team to win with that last at-bat.

After finishing Jack and the girls waited in the box until 30 minutes passed and the MVP of the match appeared.

Mai seeing everyone smiled and went to Jack, hugged him, and kissed him, after the kiss she left him and greeted her sisters until she saw Ai and spoke.

"You must be Ai, Jack talks a lot about you, my name is Mai, you can call me that," Mai said with a smile directed at a stupefied Ai.

"H-h-hello, nice to meet you, Mai, I'm a big fan, and today you were spectacular with your batting at the end," said Ai nervous to meet her idol, but she controlled herself thinking about what happened hours ago.

"So, I was amazing just in the batting alone," said Mai with a fake sad face.

Ai realizing her mistake got nervous and answered quickly.

"Ah, no, no, you were great at your pitching too," said Ai waving her hands nervously.

Mai seeing Ai nervous couldn't hold it and started laughing and looked towards Jack and spoke.

"Hahaha, Jack she is very cute when she is nervous," said Mai approaching Ai and stroking her head.

Ai seeing that she was being teased blushed.

"Mooooo~" exclaimed Ai who was covering her face out of embarrassment.

Jack seeing Ai like that laughed and spoke.

"Yeah, she's pretty cute when she gets nervous," said Jack smiling and stroking Ai's head together with Mai.

Miyuki who was the sensible one in the group saw poor Ai getting redder and redder and spoke up.

"Enough already don't you see that you are making her uncomfortable" Miyuki said angrily.

Jack and Mia listened to Miyuki and saw Ai who was cowering and covering her face with her hands and then Jack spoke.

"Ai forgive me yes, I won't bother you again," said Jack as he put a hand on her shoulder.

"Moooo~, Jack, you always say you won't bother me and you always bully me," said Ai looking at Jack with a bit of a tear.

Mai seeing Ai like this hit Jack's head and spoke.

"Jack don't bully her anymore, come Ai with sister Mai," said Mai and pulled Ai into a hug.

Jack rolled his eyes as she was also bullying her.

After everything happened, Mai and Mio gave Ai an autograph, and Ai was delighted to forget everything. She was very happy looking at the two autographs.
